"I Was a Capitalist Until I Saw These 8 Mind-Blowing #ResistCapitalism Tweets"
Here is the unvarnished truth as spoken by Milton Friedman:
“In the only cases in which the masses have escaped from the kind of grinding poverty you’re talking about, the only cases in recorded history, are where they have had capitalism and largely free trade. If you want to know where the masses are worse off, worst off, it’s exactly in the kinds of societies that depart from that. So that the record of history is absolutely crystal clear, that there is no alternative way so far discovered of improving the lot of the ordinary people that can hold a candle to the productive activities that are unleashed by the free-enterprise system.”
That is the absolute truth. Liberals love to show the pictures of starving children and people suffering, but never bother to tell you that in the vast majority of cases, they live in countries ruled by dictators. Why do you suppose socialist countries never have a problem with illegal aliens? How many people do you know who are trying to get to another country in order to have a better life?
The point Friedman was making boiled down to the idea that freedom yields creativity, productivity, and wealth. The critical component being that individuals should be allowed to pursue what they think is best for them, with minimal interference, and to identify that as “greed” is mistaken and wrongheaded.
Isn't it interesting that people like my husband and I, who operate small businesses, employ people, contribute to the economy, and do everything legally in our power to keep as much as possible of what we earn are considered "greedy" by these pinheaded liberals, but the parasites who live off of the work of others are not?
Wise man, and not nearly enough people heed wise words such as his. Doesn't seem our public schools are teaching anything like the above.
Here are #ResistCapitalism's heroes. Look closely.
Here's a #ResistCapitalism tweet. Try not to choke on the stupidity:
Remember capitalism didn't make ur iPhone, labor did. We #ResistCapitalism so the builders of modernity reap the benefits of modernity!Really? So, the workers came up with the idea of the iPhone and risked their money in order to produce it? Are they not being paid for their labor? Are they not there of their own free will? What a bunch of twits.

***Got lots of work to do today, but I spent the morning running around with my Mom & aunt. The first half of my Saturdays are usually spent that way, but I don't mind. Won't have them around forever. It was great being out today, such beautiful weather! Last Saturday in Indiana we had ice & snow, this Saturday it's sunny & 71. You just never know. :-)
