Dissent Not Allowed

***Here is how the "tolerant" Left handles dissent:

For a worldview that claims to be all about freedom and choice and “being oneself,” transgenderism sure is tetchy and intolerant. Consider what has just happened to the celebrated British novelist Ian McEwan. Last week, during a speech at the Royal Institution in London, McEwan took a genteel swipe at the politics of identity. He said identity politics is becoming increasingly consumerist, where we now pluck a ready-made “self” from “the shelves of a personal-identity supermarket.” The making up of one’s identity has gone so far that “some men in full possession of a penis are identifying as women and demanding entry to women-only colleges,” he said. Then came his killer line: “Call me old-fashioned, but I tend to think of people with penises as men.”

You can guess what happened next:

Can you guess what happened next? Yes, McEwan was subjected to a Twitch hunt, to that 21st-century bloodsport in which anyone who expresses an unpopular view or makes a less than PC utterance or simply misspeaks a little will be “called out” (shamed) by the bedroom-bound, Twitter-living, self-styled guardians of correct thinking. Twits went berserk over his apparently perverse linking of penises with maleness. They branded him a bigot, weird, a transphobe. Trans-rights activists put the boot in, too. Stonewall, the LGBT activist group, slammed McEwan for being “uninformed” and said his weird worldview doesn’t only “denigrate the trans experience, it denies its very existence.” Paris Lees, a trans woman and journalist, scolded McEwan, telling him his “ideas about penises are outdated.” He should apologize, the mob said.
I'm so disappointed that McEwan apologized. What he said was absolutely true. However, in his mewling, cowardly apology, he said, "Biology is not always destiny." What does that even mean? These leftists are supposed to be oh, so addicted to science, unless of course it proves their worldview freakishly wrong. That's why they want to jail climate change deniers (who have most of the scientific evidence on their side) and why they must silence those who dare speak out against their pet fetishes. A liberal is the most intolerant, mean person you will ever meet.

***Did you see the Masters, where Jordan Spieth blew a 4 shot lead at the end? Oh, that had to hurt. He seems like a nice young man, I hated that he had to go through that.

***I'm glad Cruz won Colorado's delegates, but even after reading about it I still don't understand why it was done that way. Trump is certainly handling it as he usually does, with a hissy fit.

***Thank goodness - a university finally has the backbone to tell their spoiled students to grow up, get out, or get expelled/arrested. Good for Ohio State, I hope they stick to their guns.

All The World's a Stage
by William Shakespeare

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

I have no great love for any of these people and I certainly wouldn’t vote for either Hillary or Bernie (I’ll chew rat poison before THAT happens). I only bring it up to show just how much of a mess the Democrat Party is in. And, truthfully, they have only themselves to blame. That’s what happens when you cater welfare/perpetual-poverty programs to one racial minority group in order to keep their votes and then they finally start figuring out just how little you truly care about them.

Unfortunately, very few of them are figuring that out.

***How ya doin'??
