RuPaul has no plans to sashay away anytime soon.
The saucy host of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” which marks its 100th episode and Season 8 premiere Monday night (9 p.m. on Logo), says he’s dedicated to wigging out and grooming a new generation of drag queens.
“I’ve always been motivated by what interests me — color, music, dancing, love, beauty,” he tells The Post by phone from LA. “As long as it’s fun and has those elements, I’m into it.”
I'm gonna be sick.

Glaciers are key icons of climate change and global environmental change. However, the relationships among gender, science, and glaciers – particularly related to epistemological questions about the production of glaciological knowledge – remain understudied. This paper thus proposes a feminist glaciology framework with four key components: 1) knowledge producers; (2) gendered science and knowledge; (3) systems of scientific domination; and (4) alternative representations of glaciers. Merging feminist postcolonial science studies and feminist political ecology, the feminist glaciology framework generates robust analysis of gender, power, and epistemologies in dynamic social-ecological systems, thereby leading to more just and equitable science and human-ice interactions.
Yes, I too was sure this was a parody, but in fact the lead author is the associate dean at the University of Oregon. Do they really sit around and say, “Gee—the gender of that glacier is uncertain to me. It might be a trans-glacier, perhaps reversing course in the next cycle. I’ll have to cross-reference it with my post-colonial epistemology thesaurus.”
***Idaho pastor shot the day after praying at a Ted Cruz rally. Geez.
Police in Idaho were searching Monday for a gunman who shot and wounded a pastor outside his church Sunday afternoon, one day after he led a prayer at a rally for Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz.
Tim Remington was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside the Altar Church in Coeur d'Alene at around 2 p.m. local time Sunday. Remington's nephew Matthew and other church members told KREM that Remington was shot four times in the back as he walked to his car.
KREM reported that Remington was expected to make a full recovery.
Apparently they know who did it, but aren't releasing much information yet.
