And that's my two cents for today.
***On a lighter note, Mark & I finished our NRA pistol course yesterday. Great course, I highly recommend it. I feel much more comfortable with my gun now. It's a .38 revolver. I am going to look for a .22, though, as I am much more accurate with those. I know they don't have the stopping power of a .38, but again, I am much more accurate when shooting them. I will practice more with the .38, though. Who knows, I may change my mind.
***Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day?
Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day ?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed,
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st,
Nor shall death brag thou wand’rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st;
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
***You gotta be kidding me...
The greatest obstacle to being heroic is the doubt whether one may not be going to prove one's self a fool; the truest heroism is to resist the doubt; and the profoundest wisdom, to know when it ought to be resisted, and when it be obeyed.
