This past Friday, the President of the American College of Pediatricians, Dr. Michelle Cretella, ripped the Supreme Court’s decision to force every state in America to allow sodomy-based “marriage.” Dr. Cretella argues that, “[T]his is a tragic day for America’s children. The SCOTUS has just undermined the single greatest pro-child institution in the history of mankind: the natural family. Just as it did in the joint Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton decisions, the SCOTUS has elevated and enshrined the wants of adults over the needs of children.”
At their website, the College has posted a wealth of information and scientific evidence that same-sex “marriage” is destructive to children and that children do best in natural families. In April, the College posted the following press release to their website, urging the Supreme Court to protect America’s children.
You don't hear much about it when experts say something liberals don't like, do you? I firmly believe that to the Left, what is good for America and her people is not important. Control and power are what they want, and they don't care who they hurt to get it. Look how the Democrats claim to be oh, so concerned about blacks in this country. When they're in power, does it get any better? Of course not, they don't want it to. They want them dependent on the government so they'll continue to vote Democrat. Same with this issue. What is good for America and her children is secondary...or even further down the list. They want their views forced on us whether we like it or not. I know it's discouraging when the highest court in the land is swayed by politics rather than what the Constitution says, but we have to keep fighting back. What other option do we have?
Here is the web site for the American College of Pediatricians. There is some good stuff there.
***The shameful liberal exploitation of the Charleston massacre. Barack Obama used the pulpit to forward his liberal views, not bring comfort to the grieving. The man is foul. Follow the link, really good piece.
***Obamacare will punish businesses who help with health care. Big surprise there. I don't get why the Supreme Court is so sold on this monstrosity that it completely abandoned principle to save it.
Employers who reimburse their workers for health care costs will face massive tax penalties beginning Wednesday.
Prior to the passage of the Affordable Care Act, with its mandate that all Americans purchase insurance and requirement for businesses to offer employees insurance plans, many small companies provided coverage by directly reimbursing medical costs or for the cost of private insurance plans. Businesses do it because that’s a less complicated process than dealing with an official health insurance plan, but continuing to do so after July 1 could cost them hundreds of dollars in fines each day.
The purpose of this is obvious. Single payer. That's the goal.
Okay, I'm doing that at my next dinner party...
