Where is the Outrage, Indeed

***Here's what a black police officer said about targeting white boys:

There’s a lot of hypocrisy in liberal media, especially when it comes to race relations in America, where it’s almost guaranteed if a white police officer does something to a black person — even if it’s justified — he or she will be publicly ripped to shreds and shamed for their actions.
As you can imagine, the same doesn’t hold true if roles are reversed.
Take disgraced black police officer Jeffery Walker for example.
Walker testified against his colleagues — members of a drug squad — admitting to stealing drug money, planting evidence, and lying on his paperwork numerous times.
What’s really sick though, is how he said he and his squad targeted “white college-boy…khaki pants types” because they were “easy to intimidate.”

Where’s the outrage from mainstream media?

Bet you haven't heard anything about this on the "news."

***Liquid armor? That's interesting.

Researchers in Poland have developed a liquid that’s super-light and flexible... until you shoot a bullet at it that is. Upon impact, their specially designed 'shear-thickening fluid', or STF, turns into a solid that's reportedly not just more comfortable than Kevlar - the most widely used material in bulletproof armour - but also offers even better protection against bullets and other projectiles.
Created by the Moratex Institute of Security Technologies, the liquid is what's known as a non-Newtonian fluid. Unlike regular Newtonian fluids like water, which only change their structure according to temperature or pressure fluctuations, non-Newtonian fluids change their viscosity under stress. In other words, they can quickly change from liquid to rock-hard solid when they're hit with something forceful, like a stray bullet, for example.

***Looking forward to a relaxing morning AWAY from my computer. It has been a very busy, hectic week business-wise. Mom, my aunt, and I are going out to breakfast, hitting some yard sales, then hitting the Amish store! I'm so glad yard sales are starting up again, we have a great time treasure hunting every Saturday.  I'll have to catch up some work this afternoon, but this morning is mine!

***Boomer Esiason pushing back against the University of Maryland after it cowtows to a few Muslim students and cancels a screening of "American Sniper." Good for him. We have got to stop letting these people push the rest of us around.

Current talk-show host and former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason says he is cutting off the University of Maryland, his alma mater, after it decided to cancel a screening of the movie "American Sniper."

Esiason tweeted that he is "never donating another dime to the U of MD" after learning about the cancellation of the film, which profiles the life of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.

"I'm deeply saddened and insulted," Esiason added. Chris Kyle, he emphasized, "is a HERO!"

Charles Krauthammer told viewers Thursday on “Special Report with Bret Baier” that he was struck “by the unbelievable arrogance of the Clintons.”
Krauthammer, a syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor, was reacting to new reports the Clinton Foundation allegedly received donations connected to business deals, while Hillary Clinton was the secretary of state.
“They burn the tapes, they eliminate the email. Yes, you might not have had a direct quid pro quo in the emails, but there might have been hints of things going,” said Krauthammer. He added that American people may never get to the bottom of it, because all the evidence is “gone.”
Krauthammer said he was surprised by Clintons' “full expectation [that] they’re going to get away with it.”
“While you are walking the line,” Krauthammer said while referring to Clintons.  He added that ongoing scrutiny is not a big concern for the Clinton family because “they think in the end, they’re going to get away with it.”

They always do.

Do kids need marriage?
The Centers for Disease Control released data recently that shows cohabiting parents now account for 59 percent of all births outside marriage. The children born from these relationships are losing out on, among other things, the financial benefits and stability associated with marriage. Read more at The Wall St. Journal.

***I guess this makes sense to somebody...Youngstown State University student government takes down "Straight Pride" posters. Well, because, they want to be inclusive...

Posters promoting a “straight pride” week at a northeast Ohio university were removed this week after student leaders determined that the message went beyond free speech.
