What a perfect analogy.

***I'm taking a short break from my transcription. It has been one of those tedious days where all the dictations are long and drawn out, everybody needs something NOW, doctor wants this added to that...blah blah blah.

Okay, I'll stop whining now.

***CIA investigating ISIS claim that American prisoner killed by Jordanian air strike. Really? We're going to believe ANYTHING ISIS claims? They're obviously trying to turn public opinion against Jordan, who seems to be the only country willing to actually do something about their barbarism.

U.S. intelligence officials are investigating a claim by ISIS that its sole known remaining American hostage, an aid worker held for nearly a year and a half, has been killed, and the terrorist groups claim that her death came in a Jordanian airstrike, sources told Fox News.
Kayla Mueller, 26, whose identity had previously not been revealed at the request of the U.S. government and her family as the Pentagon worked to secure her, is believed to be the last American hostage the terrorist army is holding, since the beheading of Peter Kassig, a 26-year-old American aid worker, killed in November. In its statement, ISIS also claimed Mueller was the only person killed in the airstrike, claiming none of its fighters injured or killed.

Could it be any more obvious?

***Biden to snub Netanyahu, skip speech to Congress. Could this be any more in-your-face and unbecoming of anyone in high office? Biden has been an embarrassment from day 1.

Vice President Joe Biden will not attend a controversial speech Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to make to Congress next month, in a new snub to the Israeli leader.
"The Vice President's office expects that the Vice President will be traveling abroad during the joint session of Congress," an official said.
 Wherever he goes, I hope they keep him.

The Eagle
by Alfred Lord Tennyson
He clasps the crag with crooked hands;
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Ring'd with the azure world, he stands.

The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls;
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt he falls

After you, honey.

When a young, expectant mother was hit by a train, her unborn child was thankfully unharmed. Two months later, the healthy baby girl was delivered as her mother lay still in a coma, Central European News (CEN) reported.
Shortly before Christmas, Maria Kudrina, 31, was standing on a station platform waiting for a train in Moscow, Russia. Kudrina stumbled and fell because the large number of people waiting, and was struck in the head at least twice as the train cars passed by. Her husband, Vladimr Kudrina, 33, rushed to pull her back on the platform, but was unable to help.
Kudrina suffered massive head injuries and medics called to the scene fought to keep her alive before she was taken to GKB67 Hospital. Doctors at the hospital were able to confirm that the baby was unharmed.
The young mother’s survival seemed unlikely, but she was placed in intensive care, where she’s remained in a coma.
The newborn, named Maria after her mother, was delivered by caesarean section weighing 1 pound, 1.6 ounces and measuring 15 inches long. Doctors say she is doing well and remains in an incubator, but is expected to survive without problems.
Since baby Maria’s birth, doctors have been able to use medicine that may help her mother awaken without fear of harming the unborn child.
“Is a miracle, and now we are hoping for a second miracle,” a family friend told CEN.
