***There is absolutely no excuse for not being in Paris to support world leaders in their stand against Islamic barbarism.

Jake Tapper: It is no small thing for the king of Jordan, a direct descendent of the Prophet Mohammed, to march in a rally prompted by the murders of people who mocked Islam as well as of innocent Jews -- all of whom were killed by Islamic extremists.
The United States, which considers itself to be the most important nation in the world, was not represented in this march -- arguably one of the most important public demonstrations in Europe in the last generation -- except by U.S. Ambassador Jane Hartley, who may have been a few rows back. I didn't see her. Even Russia sent Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
I say this as an American -- not as a journalist, not as a representative of CNN -- but as an American: I was ashamed.

I've been ashamed of this president since he took office. The fact that he represents the greatest country in the world makes me cringe.

Now they're saying, "We should have sent someone." Too little, too late. You've been shown once again for the cowardly socialists you are, and no amount of backpeddling is going to fix it.

"There's no doubt that had the president or vice president, on this very short time frame, gone to participate in this event that took place outdoors with more than a million people in attendance, that it would have significantly impacted the ability of those who attended the march to participate in the way they did yesterday," Earnest said.
Oh right, they were concerned about everyone else there. That would be a first.

***Most illegals are now immune to arrest. Thank you, clueless Obama voter.

New Obama administration rules make the vast majority of illegal immigrants immune to arrest and relegate border patrol agents to the role of social workers, according to Breitbart Texas.

A border agent leaked the documents to the conservative web site, explaining that the Department of Homeland Security has decided that the majority of immigrants crossing U.S. borders illegally cannot be detained or deported without approval from top officials in Washington.
The documents do not specifically order agents to let illegal immigrants pass freely into the United States, the source said. But the rules “clearly” say “don’t waste your time because the alien will not be put into detention, sent back or deported,” he said.
Isn't that wonderful.

A California man spent $4.8 million on a penny and a quarter.
According to Newser, Kevin Lipton bid $2,585,000 last week for the 1792 penny, one of about only 10 coins that were "experimentally produced" after the U.S. Mint was established.
Lipton paid $2.2 million for the quarter, from the same year.

***Teens rally for cancer-fighting classmate. Great story.

According to the GoFundMe page set up by his friends, Garmo was diagnosed with bone cancer his freshman year at Rochester High School. Before his senior year, he made the tough decision to amputate his left leg after multiple surgeries and chemotherapy.
The GoFundMe page has raised over $24,000 in two days. On Sunday, friends met at a local park to paint about 200 cars yellow— Gage’s favorite color— and added the hashtag #GarmoStrong before driving past his house. They also held a fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings.

***Rare identical triplets born.

Identical triplets are rare - there's roughly a one-in-a-million chance of it happening - but a Montana family grew a lot more quickly than it expected after having them in December.
Jase and Jody Kinsey of Miles welcomed three more boys into their family all at once in December at Billings Clinic, reports CBS affiliate KVTQ in Billings.
"It's kinda almost overwhelming," Jase said. "When you think about when they get a little older, are they all going to play the same sports? Or are you going to go 50 million directions and be able to help all of them as much as you can. But I can't wait for that to come. I'm so ready."

***Somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now!~~ Michael Landon

***Have a great day!
