Rationalizing Murder

***Yeah, they say they're horrified over the terrorist murders at Charlie Hebdo, but the rest of the writings from these liberal eclair-spined wusses says differently.

Self-described "Geeky Porn Starlet/Lecturer/Presenter/Sex Critical Feminist" Kitty Stryker wrote:
So, I’m generally pretty anti-censorship. I mean ****, I just worked on a porn where we gently poked fun at the new British porn content laws by enacting all of them in a playful, consensual space. I am a big fan of art, and using humour to hopefully make people think and change their minds.
That said, I do not believe that racist, homophobic language is satire. I think it’s abusive, and I think it punches down, harshly and often.
Later, the "generally pretty anti-censorship" Stryker explicitly puts to words what so many others have danced around:
I don’t think that shooting up the Charlie Hebdo office was ethically Right with a capital R, ok? But I do think it’s understandable.

This piece is full of confused stupidity such as the above. Stand for something for once, people. Kinda amazing what they call "art," isn't it? Before you click on the link, let me warn you that liberals are completely unable to express themselves without swearing.

***Back to the Future. Definitely food for thought.

***Does this really surprise anybody?

President Barack Obama twice passed right in front of the scandal-plagued Phoenix VA Center on Thursday without stopping.
Arizona Senator John McCain and veterans groups including Concerned Veterans for America had urged Obama to stop at the center.
An excerpt from CEO of CVA Pete Hegseth’s op-ed published Thursday in the Arizona Republic on Obama skipping visiting the VA:
“The president hasn’t visited a single VA hospital since The Arizona Republic first reported last April that the Phoenix VA had kept a secret wait-list for critically ill veterans, a despicable practice that, unfortunately, was not just employed in Phoenix.
“His presidential snub may seem like merely “bad optics” to some in Washington, but it will be seen as a slap in the face to both the neglected veterans who continue to wait for care, and their family members who have watched their loved ones suffer — and in some cases die — at the hands of this bloated and corrupt bureaucracy.”

***And now for some good news: Barbara Boxer is retiring after this term!

***Ways to catch the "Star Wars" fever!

There are all kinds of different events, all over the world. The next Star Wars movie debuts Dec. 18 of this year. Yeah, I'll probably go see it!

***It has been a busy week, and next week is going to be a killer! One of my typists is off, my only full time one. She is darn near irreplaceable! I might be a bit scarce next week. Try to muddle through. :-)

Dreams
by Langston Hughes

Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow. - See more at: http://allpoetry.com/poem/8495507-Dreams-by-Langston-Hughes#sthash.zHEr6Hb1.dpuf

***Okay, this is weird. I went to "Barracuda Brigade," a blog by Sarah Palin, and got a Google warning that some readers found the content "objectionable." Amazing. If you go on to the site, it explains how they were censored by Google, and gives a link to the new site. I'm sure the people objecting were tolerant, inclusive liberals, right? Here is the site to go to. Looks like what is "objectionable" to liberals is the truth.

***Wait, let me guess, "Art."

you don't want to explain that (18)
