***I don't usually get into the "Thank God It's Friday" thing because I work a lot over the weekend too, but I am REALLY glad it's Friday this week. It has been a busy, stressful week.

***This is criminal behavior, and it goes right to the top. The press won't touch Obama, though.

A key ObamaCare official involved in the rocky rollout of likely deleted some of her emails that are now being sought as part of an investigation into the problems by a House committee, Fox News confirmed Thursday.
The Department of Health and Human Services informed House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa in a letter Thursday that some of the emails belonging to Marilyn Tavenner, who leads the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, may not be “retrievable.”

One of the most sickening things in the world is watching an Obama apologist twist himself into knots trying to explain, rationalize, deflect, etc. Heaven forbid anyone believe his hero is guilty of anything but trying really, really hard.

***U.S. military launches airstrikes on terror targets in Iraq. Well, I'm glad it's finally happening, but it should have happened weeks ago. Our tepid response has emboldened terrorists all over the world and unless Obama attacks like he means it, this won't scare them much. They've seen him in "action" before.

If he'd just turn the military loose, they could clean the Middle East up in no time.

Aaaaannnnd, this is what he follows it up with:

Hours after U.S. fighter jets targeted Islamist terrorists in Iraq, the White House stressed Friday that President Obama by no means will allow the U.S. to fall back into all-out war.
Way to announce that all they have to do is wait you out. What a numbskull.

***IBM builds brain-inspired chip. This is fascinating.

Computer scientists at IBM have developed a brain-inspired computer chip which could pave the way for super-intelligent sensory devices.
“Imagine a computer that can understand your environment,” Dharmendra Modha, IBM’s chief scientist for brain-inspired computing, told “This provides a sixth sense to computing.”
The new chip, called TrueNorth, will enable “low power sensory processing in mobile devices,” according to the IBM scientist. One potential use could be in glasses for the visually impaired which function as a sort of high-tech guide dog, he added.

***ISIL to US: We will raise the flag of Allah in the White House. Wouldn't surprise me if it's already there somewhere. Maybe in the Obamas' bedroom.

***Upscale Taco Bell?

As the farm-to-counter movement picks up steam, Taco Bell is joining the trend with the opening of their new restaurant U.S. Taco Co. in Huntington, California.
According to the eatery’s website, they “walk to the beat of a different drummer” with a blended Mexican-American menu of tacos, fries and shakes. Unlike a traditional Taco Bell chain location, U.S. Taco Co. uses only wild-caught seafood, hormone-free beef and sustainable packaging materials.
The restaurant also has some pretty cheeky monikers for their signature dishes. Tacos range in price from about $3 for “The Big Spud”- a vegetarian creation with potatoes, cheese and poblano crema- to a whopping $9.99 for a lobster taco called “The 1%- ER.”

***Somebody went to a lot of trouble...

***Three things that are legal, but should be penalized:

1. Line cutters.
2. Seat savers.
3. Open sneezers.

***Smiling animals
