***Wow, what a great way to get my blood pressure up in the morning. Rick Perry is getting payback for trying to secure the Texas border, when Obama and the Democrats don't want it secured. He has been indicted for....doing his job.

A Travis County grand jury Friday indicted Gov. Rick Perry on two charges related to his effort last year to force District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg to resign after her drunken driving arrest.
Grand jurors charged Perry, 64, with abuse of official capacity, a first-degree felony, and coercion of a public servant, a third-degree felony. The first charge carries a punishment of 5-99 years and a fine of up to $10,000. The second charge is punishable by 2-10 years and a fine of up to $10,000.
The indictment stems from Perry’s threat last summer to withhold $7.5 million in state money from Lehmberg’s office unless she step down – a threat he later carried out by vetoing an appropriation in the state budget.

This is a witch hunt, an attempt to get rid of a Republican governor who has done great things for his state, just like Scott Walker in Wisconsin. Democrats can't win with ideas and results, so they have to do it by deception and outright lies. This is absolutely outrageous.

***Joe Scarborough: Obama has "checked out." Come on. He never checked in.

President Barack Obama has "checked out" of his job and "doesn't want to be there anymore," MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said.

In an interview on the Hugh Hewitt radio show on Friday, the host of "Morning Joe" added that some of the president's closest political allies say he's ready to be an "ex-president."
Hey, guess what? We're ready for that too. Please make it so - and take your buffoon of a vice president with you.

***An embarrassment of Democrats. I like this.

“One of the many oddities of the English language,” it has been noted, “is the multitude of different names given to collections or groups, be they beasts, birds, people or things. Many of these collective nouns are beautiful and evocative, even poetic.”
You’ve got your gaggle of geese. You’ve got your pack of dogs. You’ve got your stuck of jellyfish. You’ve got your colony of ants. And many, many more.
To these I propose to add another: An embarrassment of Democrats. That they’re incapable of embarrassment is part of the equation, but just part.
The party itself is an embarrassment. Let us count the ways on another day, some time after the publication of Bill Voegeli’s forthcoming The Pity Party: A Mean-Spirited Diatribe Against Liberal Compassion. (I have read a galley copy.) In my opinion, Voegeli’s is the best short book on politics since Machiavell’s Prince, and a helluva lot funnier.
This is a party led by Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi. Hillary Clinton stands in the wings. An embarrassment of Democrats. Admit it. It’s perfect.
In subsequent posts I’ll take a look at Democrats running for office seeking to continue or add to the embarrassment.

***Oh for heaven's sake - you can't say anything without liberal ninnies jumping on your every word. Forget it, Shepard. You're entitled to your opinion, and for what it's worth, I agree with you.

Critics took to social media after Smith said Williams' children were giving him so much joy, "and yet something inside you is so horrible or you're such a coward or whatever the reason that you decide you have to end it."

Believe while others
Poet: William Arthur Ward

Believe while others are doubting.
Plan while others are playing.
Study while others are sleeping.
Decide while others are delaying.
Prepare while others are daydreaming.
Begin while others are procrastinating.
Work while others are wishing.
Save while others are wasting.
Listen while others are talking.
Smile while others are frowning.
Commend while others are criticizing.
Persist while others are quitting.

In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing.
The worst thing you can do is nothing
Theodore Roosevelt

***Have a great day!
