Part-Time President

***Obama plays hooky during a perilous time.

Even President Obama’s supporters must acknowledge that at times he behaves bizarrely. During the attack on Sept. 11, 2012, in Benghazi, Libya, he barked out a few vague orders and then retreated to his residence, although his spinners insist that he was “briefed.” (How about leading?) The next day, he went to a fundraiser in Las Vegas.
He won’t go to the border to view the humanitarian disaster involving tens of thousands of children. Yesterday, with the downing of a passenger jet, allegedly by Russian weapons, and then the onset of a ground war in Gaza, President Obama was off — to two New York fundraisers.

That’s the best place to find him. He has done almost 400 fundraisers in six years and played 176 rounds of golf.

No, I don't think his most ardent supporters will ever acknowledge what a loser he is, or admit that they would be rending their garments if a Republican were behaving this way. Obama is just a bad man, and an even worse president. I don't get his rabid followers, I really don't. His arrogance is palpable, but some of them just swoon. Unbelievable.

***105-year-old woman to become the first to throw out first pitch at a ballgame! Go Gramma!

A former Cleveland resident will make history when she throws out the ceremonial first pitch at PETCO Park Sunday when the San Diego Padres host the New York Mets.
Agnes McKee, 105, will be the oldest person ever to throw out a first pitch surpassing Kitty Cohen, who was 101 when she threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Toronto Blue Jays game on May 11.
“I am very honored to do this. It’s exciting and I hope I can get through it,” McKee told KSWB-TV. “I was really glad I got up this morning, I was afraid I wouldn’t.”

***$25,000 per night "Champagn Suite?" Only a matter of time before Michelle Obama wants to vacation there.

***The real War on Women, Dick Durbin style.

In speeches on the Senate Floor in support of the so-called Paycheck Fairness Act, Senator Durbin frequently states that “women earn seventy-seven cents for every dollar earned by men.” The “seventy-seven cents” figure used by Durbin is calculated by comparing the total earnings of all men and all women with no regard to hours worked, types of work performed and the many of other legal and legitimate factors which can affect pay.
“Why would Democrat US Senator Dick Durbin use a grossly inaccurate statistic to mislead women and push his legislative agenda, then cry foul when the same math is used against him in a political ad?” asked Donelson. “Others just used the same math as Durbin, but applied it to his Senate Staff. If it weren’t for the double standards, Democrats like Dick Durbin would have no standards at all.”
Analysis of Senate Staff payroll by the Washington Free Beacon found that in 2012 Durbin “paid men $13,063 more, a difference of 23 percent.”
“So, when Durbin says ‘women earn seventy-seven cents for every dollar earned by men’ it could also be an accurate description of the pay of his US Senate Staff in 2012,” Donelson said. “I eagerly await the news media asking Senator Durbin directly about his staff’s pay.”

Ever notice that Democrats are experts at projection? They holler at the top of their lungs about the sins of conservatives, all the while committing the atrocities themselves. What a bunch of hypocrites.
