"Tear Down This Wall!"

***27 years ago today.

"General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

Full transcript here. What a great president he was. Compare him side by side with the coward we have as our President now.

***US caught off guard by Iraqi insurgency. Yeah yeah yeah...only a matter of time until the Whiner-in-Chief blames Bush.

With Iraq teetering on the brink of collapse, the White House has been caught off guard by the capture of two cities by Muslim militants and the desertion of thousands of Iraqi security forces, The Wall Street Journal reported.

As Sunni fighters with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) headed to Baghdad after taking Mosul and Tikrit, the Obama administration hastily arranged a meeting on Wednesday with military leaders and policy makers to deal with the latest Middle East crisis.

Even though the State Department has known for some time that jihadists wanted to create an Islamic state in parts of Iraq and Syria dominated by Sunnis, the United States was ill-prepared to counter the ISIS onslaught.

We are ill-prepared because we have cowards and fools leading this country.

***Faith-based waterpark will prohibit thongs and "excessively revealing" swimwear. Oh, just wait for it. They'll be sued for violating peoples' rights, as if there are no other waterparks to go to.

This is one water park where you’ll need to bring a cover-up.
Splash Kingdom Family Waterparks is planning to open a new park in Brazoria, a tiny Texas town south of Houston.
A family friendly dress code will be strictly enforced, which includes a no-thong policy, a ban on excessively revealing swimwear, no denim-- and employees have the right to ask any scantily clad patrons to put on more clothes.
"We're a very family friendly business,” Johnny Blevins, the Splash Kingdom Family Waterparks president and CEO, told the Houston Chronicle. “Our goal is to glorify God while providing a fun, safe recreational area for families.”
