Barack Obama: Race Hustler

***Amen, John Hinderaker:

President Obama has fanned the flames of hatred in the Trayvon Martin case, and has not said a single critical word about the outrageous actions of the New Black Panthers, who offered a $10,000 bounty on George Zimmerman–the same New Black Panthers on whose behalf Eric Holder quashed a federal criminal prosecution; or of Spike Lee, who tweeted a wrong address for Zimmerman, presumably to facilitate harassment or even murder; or of the many liberals who have posted on the @killzimmerman Twitter feed; or of the many other Democrats and liberals who have indulged in an orgy of hate with respect to Mr. Zimmerman. President Obama’s interest in the victims of violence is selective: he cares if they look like the hypothetical son he doesn’t have. Or, perhaps more to the point, he cares if an opportunity for political gain presents itself.

***From Glenn Reynolds over at Instapundit:

JIM TREACHER: Has Obama called David and Elaine McClain to make sure they’re holding up okay? “They’re the elderly Florida couple whose address Spike Lee tweeted because he thought it was George Zimmerman’s. Presumably because he wanted people to go there and discuss things calmly. . . . ‘Fearful for their safety, and hoping to escape the spotlight, the couple have temporarily moved to a hotel.’”
Plus: “Somebody please try to justify this. Seriously. Tell me why this is okay. Tell me why this doesn’t matter. Tell me how this helps. Tell me how anyone involved in this fiasco expects us to just forget what they’ve said and done.”
Also: “And remember Obama’s $35K-a-plate fundraiser at Spike’s house just two months ago? I’m sure they’d both prefer if you didn’t.”
***Tempted to buy a lottery ticket? Here's what has happened to a few past winners:

-Jack Whittaker: This West Virginia businessman won $315 million in the Powerball lottery in 2002, the largest jackpot ever from a single ticket in American history at the time. After being robbed of $545,000 in cash while at a strip club, Whittaker's granddaughter and daughter were later found dead, and Whittaker was sued by Caesars Atlantic City casino for bouncing $1.5 million worth of checks to cover gambling losses.

-Juan Rodriguez: This New York City parking attendant was earning less than $30,000 in 2004 when he won $149 million in a Mega Millions drawing. But soon after taking the lump sum option of $88 million, his wife filed for divorce and was awarded half of his winnings.

There are more, but here's the kicker:

-Jeffrey Dampier: In 1996, Dampier and his wife won $20 million in Illinois' lottery and used the money to buy relatives homes and to start a gourmet popcorn shop in Florida. Nine years later, Dampier was kidnapped and killed by his sister-in-law and her boyfriend who targeted him for money.
***Haven't seen as much coverage of this as you have for the Trayvon Martin story, have you? Guess why?

In a case that generated blaring tabloid headlines in the U.K. press, a Florida teen is facing life in prison without parole for murdering two young British tourists who got lost and wandered into a housing project where their convicted killer lived. After an eight-day trial, a jury on Wednesday convicted 17-year-old Shawn Tyson of two counts of first-degree murder in the shooting of James Cooper, 25, and James Kouzaris, 24, last April.

You guessed it. The shooter is black, the victims were white. Jesse & Al can't get any mileage out of this one, so it doesn't matter.

***Oh, by the way, Rush Limbaugh's ratings are up.

***Question :You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night, it’s raining heavily, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for a bus:

* An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
* An old friend who once saved your life.
* The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing very well that there could only be one passenger in your car?

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.

* You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first;
* or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to ! pay him back.
* However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.
The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer. Guess what was his answer?

He simply answered:
“I would give the car keys to my Old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of mydreams.”

Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought limitations.

Speedy Quick!

***Got more to do today than I have time for, so this'll be a quickie!

***More lopsided Trayvon Martin coverage.  More: Where are the civility police? As a result of the inappropriate and race-baiting actions of Spike Lee, the New Black Panthers, and the morons Jackson and Sharpton, this elderly couple is now living in fear. Too bad we don't have a leader in the White House who would at least denounce these poverty pimps.

And this: Zimmerman's story is "consistent with evidence," according to police. It doesn't matter. The Left saw a chance to exploit this boy's death, and they're not gonna give that up easily.

***Rush has a good point: We're more upset about the bounties in the NFL than the bounty on George Zimmerman.

Everyone Needs Someone

People need people and friends need friends
And we all need love for a full life depends
Not on vast riches or great acclaim,
Not on success or on worldy fame,
But just in knowing that someone cares
And holds us close in their thoughts and prayers-
For only the knowledge that we're understood
Makes everyday living feel wonderfully good,
And we rob ourselves of life's greatest need
When we "lock up our hearts" and fail to heed
The outstretched hand reaching to find
A kindred spirit whose heart and mind
Are lonely and longing to somehow share
Our joys and sorrows and to make us aware
That life's completeness and richness depends
On the things we share with our loved ones
and friends.

The Kings of Exploitation

***Even a former NAACP leader can see it:

Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country.”
“His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions,” Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller.
The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton “race hustlers” and said they are “acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.”

Couldn't have said it better myself. And the more that comes out, the more it looks like Trayvon Martin wasn't the sweet, innocent bystander he's been made out to be. Not that this doesn't need to be looked into, of course, but some balanced media coverage would be refreshing.

Not so long ago, the French gave us the Dukan Diet, a strict diet regime that's rumored to be used by Kate Middleton to keep her slim figure. Now, the latest diet craze in France is even weirder. It's called ...
Le Forking.

The rules of Le Forking are fairly simple -- You can't eat anything for dinner that won't fit on your fork.
That rules out sandwiches, meats, and sauces, as well as nuts, breads, and pizza. Pasta is allowed, as well as vegetables.

***The New Black Panthers put out a bounty on George Zimmerman, the man who shot Trayvon Martin - and our president is silent. This is sickening. Where are your calls for civility, President Obama? Where is your leadership? You are a disgrace. He blames America for the shooting, and says, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." What does that even mean??

***The hate from the left regarding Dick Cheney is sickening. These people who claim to be all for tolerance and civility are the most hate-filled, awful people in the world.

***Tiger Woods wins for the first time since 2009.

***No justice, no agitation.

Anyone who spends time looking at crime statistics will discover the basics of race and crime before too long, but you better be careful not to talk about them in polite society. They are protected by a taboo even stronger than the Victorian taboo against public discussions of sex, but with good reason. The facts are painful. No one can take joy in publicizing them.

Apparently, it's racist to point out the facts:

Blacks as a group commit murder at a rate astronomically higher than other groups. The rate of murder committed by blacks exceeds that committed by whites by approximately seven times. See, e.g., Heather Mac Donald’s essay “Is the criminal-justice system racist?”
If race hustlers like Al Sharpton really had the interests of the black community at heart, they would devote themselves to doing everything in their power to have violent black criminals separated from the community of law-abiding black citizens. The criminals are serial tormentors of law-abiding members of the black community.

We've all seen the Trayvon Martin uprising. No doubt, that needs to be looked into. But where are Sharpton and Jackson in this story?

Take the case of Lineten Belizaire. He is the chief suspect in the killings of Natasha Plummer, 25, her 6-month-old son, Carlton Stringer Jr., and Octavia Barnett, 21. Belizaire is black, as were all three of the victims.
Belizaire was being held without bond while the Broward State Attorney’s Office went to a grand jury in the hope that it would come back with an indictment. The grand jury had 40 days to do so. The circumstantial evidence incriminating Belizaire for the murders is powerful. Deputies were led to Belizaire by a Facebook status update Barnett had posted just before the shootings are believed to have taken place. The grand jury nevertheless ruled there was a lack of evidence in the case and Belizaire was released on his own recognizance, with no conditions or monitoring devices, from Broward County Jail on March 2. For more on the case, see this excellent local Fort Lauderdale news report.
At last word, Belizaire was charged after a 9mm Ruger semi-automatic was found in his car (and he lied to the police about it). You can see from the linked Miami Herald story that the guy is a walking crime wave.
Justice has yet to be done for Belizaire’s most serious crimes, but none of the hustlers calling for the head of George Zimmerman in Sanford will be swinging by Fort Lauderdale to declare the absence of peace until Belizaire is put behind bars. President Obama will not be calling for a round of soul-searching about his case. Life goes on.

Why is that not just as horrifying, if not more so? There was a 6-month-old baby killed! But...they're white, the suspect is black, so Sharpton & Jackson won't get as much mileage out of it with their ignorant followers. The hypocrisy is sickening.

***
-- By Danny Dutton
Written by an 8 year old from Chula Vista, CA, for his third grade homework assignment. The assignment was to explain God. I just wonder if any of us could do as well?

One of God's main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth.
He doesn't make grownups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way he doesn't have to take up his valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to mothers and fathers.
God's second most important job is listening to prayers. An awful lot of this goes on, since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times beside bedtime.  God doesn't have time to listen to the radio or TV because of this .
Because he hears everything, there must be a terrible lot of noise in his ears, unless he has thought of a way to turn it off.
God sees everything and hears everything and is everywhere which keeps Him pretty busy. So you shouldn't go wasting his time by going over your mom and dad's head asking for something they said you couldn't have.
Atheists are people who don't believe in God. I don't think there are any in Chula Vista. At least there aren't any who come to our church.
Jesus is God's Son. He used to do all the hard work like walking on water and performing miracles and trying to teach the people who didn't want to learn about God. They finally got tired of him preaching to them and they crucified him. But he was good and kind, like his father, and he told his father that they didn't know what they were doing and to forgive them and God said O.K.
His dad (God) appreciated everything that he had done and all his hard work on earth so he told him he didn't have to go out on the road anymore. He could stay in heaven. So he did. And now he helps his dad out by listening to prayers and seeing things which are important for God to take care of and which ones he can take care of himself without having to bother God. Like a secretary, only more important.
You can pray anytime you want and they are sure to help you because they got it worked out so one of them is on duty all the time.
You should always go to church on Sunday because it makes God happy, and if there's anybody you want to make happy, it's God.
Don't skip church or do something you think will be more fun like going to the beach. This is wrong. And besides the sun doesn't come out at the beach until noon anyway.
If you don't believe in God, besides being an atheist, you will be very lonely, because your parents can't go everywhere with you, like to camp, but God can.
It is good to know He's around you when you're scared, in the dark or when you can't swim and you get thrown into real deep water by big kids.
But... you shouldn't just always think of what God can do for you. I figure God put me here and he can take me back anytime he pleases. And this is what I know about God.

Nobody denies that the Trayvon Martin shooting is a tragedy, but Jesse Jackson is exploiting it for his own ends. I don't think he cares a whit about Trayvon Martin.

...speaking of exploiting, Barack Obama has to get in on this, of course.

From the comments section:

Do you think Obama will do the same for the two white British tourists holidaying in Florida who were gunned down while they begged for their lives with their trousers pulled down, which their gunman, a black 16-yr-old teenager named Shawn Tyson, had ordered them to pull down before he cold-bloodedly executed them? Apparently, the two visitors to our country were murdered by Tyson after they accidentally wandered into his rundown, crime-ruled, drug infested Newtown neighbourhood of Sarasota. . . . Just wondering.

***Liberal opposition to Ryan plan is delusional demagoguery. Of course it is. They don't want to do something that might actually work.

It's one thing for good-faith conservative Republicans to challenge the Ryan plan from the right if they believe its cuts are too small and too slow, but these liberal attacks are something else again.

How catastrophic would the nation's fiscal condition have to be before liberals recognized its urgency? Is there any scenario under which they'd consider setting aside their partisan populism to come to the nation's rescue? Are they capable of even temporarily setting aside their redistributionist myopia long enough meaningfully to address the main drivers of the national debt?

As we know, President Obama hasn't addressed and won't address our financial problems. He has never presented a budget plan that even pretends to rein in entitlement spending or comes anywhere close to reducing our annual deficits to less than shocking numbers, much less reversing the debt picture.

Have you visited a school campus recently?

It's amazing to see the things students are being subjected to these days that promote sexual confusion and stifle Christian perspectives—in the movies, in popular music, and even right in their classrooms. One organization, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, has for several years promoted an annual "Day of Silence" to bring attention to its agenda. Students have been encouraged to promote things like "queer friendly proms" on their campuses.

This movement is extremely well-funded, and supported by movie and music stars such as Lady Gaga—and it's intent on getting your children to celebrate homosexuality, or else keep their views to themselves.

But as Christians, we already know that silence is not the answer. When honest conversations are allowed to happen, truth tends to rise to the surface.

A special place

There is a special place in life, that needs my humble skill,
a certain job I'm meant to do, which no one else can fulfil.
The time will be demanding and the pay is not too good
and yet I wouldn't change it for a moment - even if I could.
There is a special place in life, a goal I must attain,
a dream that I must follow, because I won't be back again.
There is a mark that I must leave, however small it seems to be,
a legacy of love for those who follow after me.
There is a special place in life, that only I may share,
a little path that bears my name, awaiting me somewhere.
There is a hand that I must hold, a word that I must say,
a smile that I must give for there are tears to blow away.
There is a special place in life that I was meant to fill,
a sunny spot where flowers grow upon a windy hill.
There's always a tomorrow and the best is yet to be,
and somewhere in this world, I know there is a place for me.

Even so, Obama is aggressively staking a claim for successes for which Bush shares significant or nearly all responsibility, including increased drilling for oil and natural gas, the end of the Iraq War, and the killing of Osama Bin Laden.
What follows is a roster of Obama’s efforts to assign blame for 13 problems that prevail or have faced him during his presidency. In several cases, the quotes here are just one or two of many that show Obama passing the buck on a particular issue.

Most recently, I have had the pleasure of communicating with John McLeod, or as he goes by, Jaymac. He writes poetry, and has sent me poems for the site. Through emails, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Jaymac, and his story is an inspiring one. You see, Jaymac became ill at the age of 10. He had a rheumatoid condition that left him disabled. He was only able to walk with the use of crutches. Jaymac is now 60 years old. He retired in 1991, and to quote Jaymac, "I retired in 1991 when my health crashed very badly and my arms, on which I had, literally, 'walked' with crutches for the best part of 40 years finally decided they'd had enough! Most unsporting of them!!!"
Jaymac talks about life and, as you will read in the paragraph quoted below he has a great outlook on life:
"Life, though, is full of compensations and I have been well blessed throughout my 'Life Journey' with good friends met and made along the way. Life is a kind of swings and roundabouts situation; if you can't kick a football you turn to other pursuits. So I read and learned and learned and read, endlessly curious about the World and its mysteries. I loved and love music and movies, good drama, good quality TV, anything scientific, anything, which makes me think about those things, which lie just beyond understanding. I am also a radio-ham holding a full Class A transmitting license since 1979. So while disability imposes its physical restrictions I am able to go out and meet the world via the air-waves. I speak to other 'Hams' all over the world."
We all face challenges in our lives. But how we handle these challenges, how we look at life is truly what matters. We can all look at life one of two ways:

1. we can focus on the good and move forward, or,
2. we can focus on the negative and wallow in self pity.

Class Warfare

*** Look what this middle school teacher assigned his students:

A Virginia middle school teacher recently forced his students to support President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign by conducting opposition research in class against the Republican presidential candidates.

Amazing. Read the whole thing.

***Supreme Court sides with Idaho property owners over EPA. Well, THAT'S good news. The EPA should be abolished, in my opinion.

Mike and Chantell Sackett bought their land near a scenic lake for $25,000, but when they decided to build a property there in 2007, the EPA ordered a halt, saying the Clean Water Act requires that wetlands not be disturbed without a permit.

***Obama's trying to trick Americans into thinking he's all for the Keystone Pipeline now, even though he's been standing in the way since the beginning. And his loyal American media cover for him.

All of a sudden now, he wants to be seen as approving the Keystone pipeline.  He's not doing that, folks.  He's going to Cushing, Oklahoma, for a photo-op at the southern leg of the keep on pipeline that he claims to be fast-tracking.  He's not doing anything about the northern half of the pipeline.  It remains blocked.  The northern half of the pipeline remains unauthorized.  And that's the argumentative part. That's the part that's gonna go through sensitive swampland or whatever kind of land in Nebraska.  But Obama, it's gonna be reported today or tonight, has authorized the construction of the Keystone pipeline.

Read the whole thing. What a slimy President we have.

Rats

***Peyton Manning is now officially a Denver Bronco. Dang. He'll always be a Colt to me! Tebow takes the news with class. Boy, is that a vanishing quality among professional players.

***Paul Ryan leads the way with a sensible budget.

Ryan’s budget calls for a simpler, fairer income tax system, with lower rates and fewer deductions. Ryan proposes just two marginal rates, 10% and 25%. It also lowers the top corporate income tax rate to 25%.

Read the whole thing. It obviously won't go anywhere as long as the Democrats have the Senate and the White House, but hopefully we can change that this November and get back on the path to fiscal responsibility.

***EIB sponsor stands up to the Left's War on Rush (and business in general). Check it out.

First of all, this is not a "boycott." This really surprised me, and I'm not a Pollyanna about what's going on in America and with Rush.  This is a terrorist action.  We have had people in our company. We have a female vice president, for example, a 30-year-old woman who's an MBA and a lawyer that was told that she was -- called repeatedly that she is -- a "woman hater."  This is a young woman who pulled herself up by her own bootstraps and went to law school on her own dime and is called a "woman hater."  This story has not gotten out.  This is not a boycott.  This is an organized terrorist attack, and coming from all over the country.

The Baker and the Farmer
A baker in a little country town bought the butter he used from a nearby farmer. One day he suspected that the bricks of butter were not full pounds, and for several days he weighed them.
He was right. They were short weight, and he had the farmer arrested.
At the trial the judge said to the farmer, "I presume you have scales?"
"No, your honor."
"Then how do you manage to weigh the butter you sell?" inquired the judge.
The farmer replied, "That's easily explained, your honor. I have balances and for a weight I use a one-pound loaf I buy from the baker."

Occupy's Ragged Return

***Nothing like trying again what didn't work too well before...

One of the brilliant 1% got into a little trouble for tweeting this:

“We won’t make a difference if we don’t kill a cop or 2,” the message read.

Oh, but he claims he was taken out of context. He was talking about foreign police, of course. Well, obviously. Here's some good advice from Tina Korbe:

Occupiers, I know it might not seem like it to you right now, but you can still be relevant in the future. Here’s how: Own up to the idiocy, apply for a job and aim to get rich yourselves. Ever seen the movie Trading Places? The best way to stick it to the 1 percent is to beat them at their own game. If you’re not willing to put in the hours, prioritize business over pleasure, take calculated risks for the sake of reward, that’s OK, too. Most people aren’t: That’s why they’re the 99 percent.

***The disappearing story about Malia Obama's spring break.

This is very curious. Stories about first daughter Malia Obama’s spring break trip to Mexico with 25 Secret Service detailed to protect her and her friends keep returning 404 errors or redirects.

My goodness, surely the White House wouldn't be trying to scrub the internet of another story of their excess at taxpayers' expense? Naaaa....

***I have mixed feelings about Peyton Manning going to the Broncos. I hate to see him leave Indianapolis, of course. However, I also hate to see the Broncos let Tim Tebow go. I guess that's football.

***Author: Chris Rock a "coward." Most liberals are.

***Hill Poll results grim for Obama.

Will President Obama’s energy policies increase or decrease the price of gasoline?
Increase: 58%
Decrease: 20%
Not sure: 22%
Will federal debt increase or decrease as a result of Obama’s fiscal policies?
Increase: 62%
Decrease: 25%
Not sure: 13%
Will unemployment increase or decrease as a result of Obama’s economic policies?
Increase: 48%
Decrease: 38%
Not sure: 14%

Over the course of the next 19 days they’ll cover the distance between the nation’s largest abortion center in Houston to the courthouse in Dallas where the case of Roe v. Wade was first heard.

***Savage: Founders envisioned a "petty dictator" like Obama.

Amid a three-pronged attack on the U.S. Constitution by Democrats, talk-radio host Michael Savage reminded his listeners that America’s Founding Fathers built into the nation’s founding document checks and balances that anticipated the rise of a dictator who would try to seize power.
Barack Obama is the type of “petty dictator” the Founders envisioned, Savage told his national audience tonight.

I have a friend who always seemed to lean slightly to the left all the
time.

It used to bother me, so I suggested he see a doctor and have his legs
checked out. For years, he refused and told me I was crazy.

But last week, he finally went, and sure enough, the doctor discovered
his left leg was 1/4 inch shorter than his right.

A quick bit of orthopedic surgery later, he was cured. Both legs are
exactly the same length now, and he no longer leans.

"So," I said, "you didn't believe me when I told you a doctor could fix
your leg."

He just looked at me and said, "I stand corrected."

Dependence

***My sister sent this to me via email:

Isn't It Ironic?

The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.

Meanwhile, the Park Service, asks us to "please do not feed the animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.

Have an interesting day.

In the United States, right now, women have preferential treatment – by law – in any company that gets federal funds (which heaven help us, right now, is most of them.)  Women live longer than men.  Cancers that affect females get more money and more attention than those that affect only men.  Women have the right to be sole deciders on abortion, and if they decide to keep the child and make the man pay, he pays.  (This by the way is a complete reversal of the “penalty” of sex which used to fall mostly on women.)  And if he doesn’t pay, he goes to jail.  Divorce courts award custody to mothers overwhelmingly.  Oh, and in college campuses, women outnumber men.
If this is war it is war on men.  And I’ve had just about enough of everyone who claims otherwise.

And the best part:

If you truly believe refusing to force employers to pay for birth control is a war on women, then you are fragile little flowers who deserve to experience life practically anywhere else in the world.  You are also unleashing a monster.  Get the government to force this and NOTHING is out of bonds.  Forget selling you the rope to hang you with.  The government will eventually force you to pay them to hang you.

Read the whole thing. She's absolutely right.

***Today the President will attend six separate fundraisers. On our dime, of course.  Oh, imagine the hue and cry if this were a Republican...

***Romney gets all 20 Puerto Rico delegates. Looks more and more like it's gonna be Romney/? 2012. I hope he picks a solid conservative as VP.

***Joe Biden: Buffoon

“I want to tell you what’s real bankruptcy — the economic theories of (Newt) Gingrich, (Rick) Santorum and (Mitt) Romney. They are bankrupt. If you give any one of these guys the keys to the White House, they will bankrupt the middle class again,” Biden said.

Unlike the Democrat policies, which of course are causing an economic boom. Not.

***I can relate...

LAW OF THE GARBAGE TRUCK

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport we were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.  My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!  The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us.  My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy.  And I mean, he was really friendly.

So I asked, 'Why did you just do that?  This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!'  This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck.'

He explained that some people are like garbage trucks.  They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment.  As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you...Don't take it personally.  Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on.  Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.  Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so...Love the people who treat you right.  Pray for the ones who don't.  Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!  Have a garbage-free day!

Faith is not about everything turning out OK.  Faith is about being OK no matter how things turn out.
