Life in Obama's America

***High school student suspended for refusing to wear an RFID tracker.

Wonder how long it'll be before the government wants us ALL to wear them?

***White House will not release images of the Benghazi attack. Really, does that surprise anyone? I'm still amazed at the liberals who want to "wait until all reports come out" before passing judgment on Obama. There is one man who most certainly knows what happened, and that is the president. If he were not hiding anything, he would have addressed the nation and told the truth. The reality is, he is incompetent and corrupt, and is not worthy of his office - plus he has an incompetent and corrupt media covering for him. You all know what the coverage of this would be like if a Republican were in office.

***Own it.

***The Elephant Rope

As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not.
He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. “Well,” trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”
The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.
Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before?
Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life.

***We had a great day yesterday. My side of the family came to my house for Thanksgiving, then when everyone left we went to my husband's mother's and spent some time with them. We got to see our nephew and his lovely wife, they are such a treat. We don't get to see them very often as their schedules are crazy nuts busy, so we were glad to be able to see them. Hope you all had a great day!

***Give Back Friday - great idea from Focus on the Family's Jim Daly.

***  Ouch...

***Ann Coulter: Romney was not the problem. I agree with her.

***Six things not to buy on Black Friday.

***Home office ideas. Boy, do I need to get busy organizing mine.

***Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night, by Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

***Have a great day!
