Mitt Did It

***Well, he did just about everything right. There is little doubt which man looked more presidential last night. Take Obama's teleprompter and yes men away, and he doesn't know what to do with himself.

I think this was Mitt Romney’s best debate in that entire time, and Barack Obama’s worst. Obama was the more surprising. He was weaker than usual in every way — poor on substance, poor on style, very tired; he missed opportunities and failed to defend himself. I personally think the president’s record is in most respects indefensible, but presumably Obama doesn’t agree with that. He didn’t show it tonight.

Hopefully he'll take this momentum and run with it.

***Bias Alert! Liberal pundits freak out over Obama's poor performance

Stephanopoulos  embarrasses himself.

Immediately after Governor Mitt Romney's blow-out humiliation of President NakedEmperor in last night's debate, a noticeably shaken and shattered George Stephanopoulos once again embarrassed himself with what might have been last night's weakest and most desperately lame attempt to spin His Precious One's drubbing into a nothing-to-see-here draw.

A three-year-old went with his dad to see a litter of kittens.
On returning home, he breathlessly informed his mother that
there were two boy kittens and two girl kittens. "How did you
know?" his mother asked.
"Daddy picked them up and looked underneath," he replied. "I
think it's printed on the bottom."

***Al Gore blames Obama's poor performance last night on the altitude. No, really. He did.

Former Vice President Al Gore, no stranger to disappointing debate performances, took to the airwaves to offer his own inconvenient excuse for President Obama’s shaky effort Wednesday night in Denver: Gore blamed it on the altitude.

“I’m going to say something controversial here,” Gore said on his Current TV network’s post-debate analysis. “Obama arrived in Denver at 2:00 p.m. today, just a few hours before the debate started.
“Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust — I don’t know, maybe ….”

Gore’s rationale for Obama’s inexplicable muff elevated the alibis from the left -- which already include complaints about left-leaning PBS moderator Jim Lehrer, as well as the format of the debate -- to dizzying new heights.

***Military absentee ballots plummet since 2008.  That's gotta make the Democrats happy.

***Couldn't resist...
