Media bias, and oh, it's there, is the only way to explain why Obama seems to be ahead in this race. His disastrous foreign policy, their awful convention, terrible economy, his going on The View and Letterman instead of meeting with world leaders - how on earth could he be ahead, unless we've lost our collective minds. We certainly did that when he was elected in 2008, but I certainly hope enough people have emerged from their white guilt stupor to correct that grievous error.
***Jay Nordlinger has a great column today on this:
If you got your information from the mainstream media — I wish there were a better term — you would never know Romney is an impressive man. You would never know he has been successful in most everything he has ever done. You would never know he was bright, experienced, or capable. Or warm, decent, and charitable.
You would think he was a moron. And a jerk, to boot.
You remember those “ordinary people” at the Republican convention who told about the extraordinary acts of charity Mitt Romney has performed? If Obama had performed those acts, they would be famous. They would be legends, they would have entered the national lore. Schoolchildren would be instructed to sing about them.
As he says elsewhere in the article - every Romney error (and even not-quite errors) is magnified, every Obama error is diminished. It's sickening.
***Mainstream media is threatening our country's future. And that's the truth.
Take the time to read this.
***Non-citizens on food stamps has quadrupled since 2001. This is simply not sustainable. However, no Democrat is going to touch it.
