***Wow, I've been a slacker for a couple of days when it comes to my blog! I've been drowning in work - sometimes I really don't think vacations are worth it.

***Romney tells Reid to put up or shut up. That little troll needs to be put in his place.

Mitt Romney on Thursday directly addressed Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s unsourced insinuation that he didn’t pay any taxes for 10 years, telling the Nevada Democrat to put his money where his mouth is.

Mr. Reid recently told the Huffington Post that an investor in Bain Capital, Mr. Romney’s former firm, told him Mr. Romney did not pay anything in taxes for 10 years. Mr. Reid admitted at the time he had no idea who the man was and he could not verify the claim himself.

“Well, it’s time for Harry to put up or shut up,” Mr. Romney told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on his radio show. “Harry’s going to have to describe who it is he spoke with, because of course that’s totally and completely wrong. It’s untrue, dishonest, and inaccurate. It’s wrong. So I’m looking forward to have Harry reveal his sources and we’ll probably find out it’s the White House.”

***Blue media versus Blue government. Journalism is in a sad state in this country, that's for sure.

***A "kiss-in" at Chick-fil-A? Could there be a more glaring demonstration of the difference between conservatives and liberals?

The second campaign encourages members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community to participate in a same-sex "kiss-in" Friday at Chick-fil-A outlets nationwide. Both events -- as well as overarching calls to boycott the company -- have the backing of GLAAD.

I think we should crowd them out and make sure Chick-fil-A has another record day Friday. Perverts.

***Cheetah sets world record. Wow. 100 meters in 5.95 seconds.

When in England at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by
the Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example
of 'empire building' by George Bush. Powell answered by saying, "Over
The years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and
Women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders.
The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough
to bury those that did not return." You could have heard a pin drop.
