***It's Friday (though it's 3:00 a.m. and I have a ton of work to do), but it's still Friday! Emily & Peter are coming to stay with us tonight, and we're having Peter's birthday get-together here tomorrow. We'll have a housefull! Last evening I washed curtains and windows, THAT was fun. This afternoon Mark & I will tackle the rest of the house, though it won't be too big a task since we had it really clean last weekend for my church party here. Can't wait to see them!

***Amen, Charles Krauthammer:

On Thursday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, Washington Post columnist and conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer criticized the White House after announcing it would be holding a “National Women’s Issues Conference” on April 27-28 in Washington, D.C.
According to Krauthammer, White House spokesman Jay Carney’s response to a question about conference posed by Fox News Channel’s White House correspondent, Ed Henry, was “shameless and over-the-top.”
“According to Jay Carney, it has nothing at all to do with the election,” Krauthammer said. “They actually think they can say that and do it with a straight face and get away with it. I mean, all the administrations use taxpayer money to promote themselves in an election year. But this is pretty shameless and over-the-top.”
He said that this conference stemmed from the recent contraception debate that was given birth by the media.
“Notice how when the president said, ‘This is about a wide range of issues. It isn’t just about’ — and what’s the one thing he named immediately? Contraception. Of course it is about contraception,” Krauthammer said. “It’s because of the way it was handled and the media covered it — it became all of a sudden a war on the women, which is a complete invention.”

How would you like Jay Carney's job? He has to go out every day and defend the policies of this administration. What a nightmare.

A Virginia elementary school teacher told her students that “Republicans are stupid” and “they don’t care about anyone but wealthy people and businesses.”
Kristin Martin said this to her 6th grade class as Republican voters were filing into the halls of Powell Elementary School in Fairfax County to vote on Super Tuesday.

***78-year-old man severely beated by teenagers, who allegedly said, "This is for Trayvon." Think we'll hear the howls about civility from the Left? This is directly attributable to the media's shameless, over-the-top race baiting in this case, and the exploitation of a tragedy by poverty pimps like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the New Black Panthers. But they'll never admit it.

"Dear God, I went to this wedding and they were kissing right there in church. Is that OK?"

"Dear God, thank You for the baby brother but what I prayed for was a puppy."

"Dear God, it must be super hard to love all the people in the world, especially my brother. I don't know how You do it."

"Dear God, I love Christmas and Easter. Could you please put another Holiday in the middle, there's nothing good in there now."

"Dear God, are you actually invisible or is that just a trick?"

***Third news network admits to false reporting on George Zimmerman. Do you realize how chilling this is? How our supposedly objective media is actively trying to manipulate the views of the American people? It has been happening for a long time in politics, no doubt. But this kind of thing should never, ever happen. Yet here we are. First NBC, then ABC, now CNN.
