Rush Rebound

***I had a feeling this might happen. Carbonite, one of the advertisers who dropped Rush's show, has seen its stock price plummet since they announced their decision. Good. I'm one of the ones who use Carbonite, but will not be renewing.

Since the market opened on Monday through its close today, Carbonite stock (NASDAQ:CARB) has plummeted nearly 12 percent, outpacing the drop of the NASDAQ index in that same time period by nine-and-a-half points. It was also one of the biggest decliners on the NASDAQ on Tuesday.

Serves 'em right.

***Debunking most ingrained food myths. This is interesting.

***New website: Breitbart is still making waves, even after death. Bravo.

***You go, Sarah. Sarah Palin to Obama: If Rush was offensive, why are you taking money from Bill Maher? Oh! I know! Because he's a two-faced opportunist!

***Super Tuesday Roundup. Mitt did well, but he didn't dispense with Santorum. There is still a race going on.

Rest in peace, sir.

***7 inventors killed by their inventions. This is an interesting story and slideshow. Here's an example:

Marie Curie was a physicist and chemist best known for her work on radioactivity; however, she also discovered the elements polonium and radium. She was awarded two Nobel Prizes — one in physics which she won jointly with her husband and Henri Becquerel, and another in chemistry — and was the first person to win two Nobel Prizes. She is still one of only two (along with Linus Pauling) to accomplish that feat. Curie is responsible for establishing the theory of radioactivity, but unfortunately she unwittingly also discovered the fatal effect radioactivity can have on your health; she died on July 4, 1934, of aplastic anemia caused by radiation exposure.

***                                     ONWARD, NOBLE STEED!!

***This is the best news I've heard in a long time - the Evil Elf Dennis Kucinich was beaten in the Democrat primary yesterday! This guy is certifiable, I'm tellin' ya. He and Alan Grayson should be roomies in an asylum.

***...and this is really bad news, in my opinion. Peyton Manning is no longer a Colt. Rats.

***Why Super Tuesday matters to you.

In other words, it's a make or break kind-of-day. On the fate of Super Tuesday (potentially) rests the future of the nation's next president.
But what if I suggested that today is equally important to you?
What if today was the day that changed the rest of your life? The day that changed all the rest?
What if today was the day you've been waiting for, praying for and dreaming about for years?
What if the direction and arc of your life depended on the outcome of today's events?
What if this was the day you decided to right a wrong, settle a long-running dispute or reconcile with someone you’re currently estranged from?
What if as a husband, wife, mother or a father you decided to recommit yourself to the task at hand - not tomorrow, or someday, but today?
What if the Lord has selected you to play a pivotal role today in the life of a complete stranger?Lamentations323A.jpg
What if today was your Super Tuesday?

***More evidence of the Left's hypocrisy (as if we needed more evidence....)

Laura Ingraham appeared on Tuesday’s Fox & Friends, and spoke out about the controversy swirling around Rush Limbaugh’s remarks to Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke. Co-host Gretchen Carlson asked the conservative radio host whether there was a double-standard when liberals use slurs against conservatives.
“When it was brought up on The View — I go on there every now and then and they’re always really nice to me when I go — when it was brought up on The View, Barbara Walters kind of laughed it off, like, ‘Joy, you call me that word all the time,’ and they just laughed. But when Fluke goes on yesterday, it’s ‘Oh, isn’t this a tragedy?’ and ‘Oh isn’t this horrible? Rush Limbaugh should be driven off the air.’”

***Have a great day!
