The Kings of Exploitation

***Even a former NAACP leader can see it:

Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country.”
“His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions,” Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller.
The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton “race hustlers” and said they are “acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.”

Couldn't have said it better myself. And the more that comes out, the more it looks like Trayvon Martin wasn't the sweet, innocent bystander he's been made out to be. Not that this doesn't need to be looked into, of course, but some balanced media coverage would be refreshing.

Not so long ago, the French gave us the Dukan Diet, a strict diet regime that's rumored to be used by Kate Middleton to keep her slim figure. Now, the latest diet craze in France is even weirder. It's called ...
Le Forking.

The rules of Le Forking are fairly simple -- You can't eat anything for dinner that won't fit on your fork.
That rules out sandwiches, meats, and sauces, as well as nuts, breads, and pizza. Pasta is allowed, as well as vegetables.

***The New Black Panthers put out a bounty on George Zimmerman, the man who shot Trayvon Martin - and our president is silent. This is sickening. Where are your calls for civility, President Obama? Where is your leadership? You are a disgrace. He blames America for the shooting, and says, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." What does that even mean??

***The hate from the left regarding Dick Cheney is sickening. These people who claim to be all for tolerance and civility are the most hate-filled, awful people in the world.

                                                       How the heck...??

***How to make the most of Pinterest. I've never tried Pinterest myself - I don't have time for another social site, Facebook's enough! I allow myself about 10 minutes a day checking in Facebook. I can certainly see how it could become a huge time waster, so I avoid the games and chatting and just check in on friends. It is a good way to keep in touch with people you otherwise wouldn't or couldn't. Apparently, though, if you have a small business Pinterest can be an advantage.

***Dozens of Wisconsin journos sign anti-Walker recall petition, national media yawns.

After Gannett Wisconsin Media exposed 29 circuit judges who signed petitions to recall GOP Gov. Scott Walker over union and pension reforms, the media outlet was forced to issue a front-page disclosure that 25 of its own journalists had also signed the petitions — in violation of its principles of ethical conduct. Liberal media? What liberal media? Journalists, politicos, and Wisconsinites react on Twitter.
