You remember the Virgin Mary being seen on a grilled cheese sandwich, right? That fetched $28,000. Looks more like Marlene Dietrich to me.
Oh, and here's the "Jesus Pierogi," which went for $1775 on eBay. What? George Washington gets $8100 and Jesus only gets a lousy $1775? What's this world coming to??
***Blog comment of the day:
Women are strong!
Except they wilt when they are called names!
Tough and enduring, save for when harsh words fly.
Steadfast and unyielding, until they wilt or shatter from the mean things people say.
Feminists are Greek columns made of styrofoam; a Potemkin village of bicycled fish.
***Amen to this:
The Party of Hate
Barack Obama has been a terrible president in many ways, but perhaps his most poisonous legacy is his cynical fomenting of partisan hate to advance his own political interests. After three years, we have learned that “hope” is not the word that we should associate with the Obama presidency.
***Here's the video everyone is talking about, and the admission that the media hid it during the 2008 campaign. Who is Prof. Derrick Bell? Glad you asked.
***Former West Virginia sheriff, county clerk admit to trying to steal election. Guess what? They're Democrats!
***Rush clears up misinformation about his sponsors. We've all heard about how many sponsors he's lost, blah blah blah. Here's the truth.
***That's some tree house!!
***Here's a clue about the hit piece on Sarah Palin called "Game Change:"
"Game Change's" top stars and execs: $200K to Democratic causes, $0 to Republicans.
Nah, there won't be any bias here.
***Obama is still on the alternate fuel bandwagon, despite its dismal failure. Sheesh.
***Dreams do come true!
When my son was 11 years old,his cousin had a best friend who was 8years old. She had a crush on my son and always said she was going to marry him. She would write him letters and sign it, your future wife. When my son turned 14 years old,he was at his cousin house and the song came on I Can't Stop Stop Falling In Love With You by Elvis Presley. Joking with Sophia who was 11 years old he said to her "this is the song we will dance to at our wedding.". Sophia never forgot that and her girlfriends made her a copy of the song. Years flew by and my son went to college and had relationships with other girls. Well when my son bought a house and was working at 25 he started dating Sophia and became engaged. Needless to say their first dance at their wedding was to the song he teased her about 14 years earlier!
