Christmas Party!

***I get to go to a ladies Christmas party at our church later today. I'm doing the devotions - it's gonna be short because I really don't like getting up and talking in front of people. Isn't that weird - I can get up and sing a special, but TALK? Eek! But...she was kind enough to ask me and I said I would, so I will. Gotta go make some brownies to take in a few minutes.

***Wow, at least they have their priorities straight. Now the Obamas are gonna limit how many bake sales a school system can have - you know, for the children!! More control...more control. They know what's best for you, so just shut up and take it! Never mind Iraq and N. Korea, Mr. President! Just make sure you get THIS done!

***Government tracking individual credit card use without a court order. Remember the weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth by the Left over the Patriot Act? Remember how President Bush was intruding on our lives by checking on the library records of suspected terrorists? Where are they now??

***Now THIS is what ought to be done with Julian Assange, the vermin who owns WikiLeaks:

***Ewww.  NYU professor has a camera implanted in the back of his head.  I wouldn't invite him to dinner, either!

***Keeping the faith in the private sector. Too bad the people in charge in Washington can't do that.

***Senate Dems' demagoguery defeated. Good.

***Despots always seek to control the means by which information is disseminated. Hence, the revival of the "Fairness Doctrine." They can't compete in the talk radio marketplace, so they want to control it via the government.

***Good for them. PayPal cuts off WikiLeaks account.

***Insult to injury. So far, 13 state elected officials have switched parties, from Democrat to Republican.

***Lightning strike:

Great opportunities to help others seldom come,
but small ones surround us every day

Sally Koch

Have a great day!
