Good Morning (or Afternoon, or Evening)

***Well, I finally got around to updating my profile and putting a picture there. Check it out, if you dare!

***We got our tree up yesterday and the house decorated. It looks so pretty! We sent pictures via cell phone to Emily to get her approval, of course. She was always in charge of arranging the Nativity scenes on the piano, so Johnny did it this time and sent her a picture. She said he did good!

Pretty Sunday

***Gonna be another nice day here in Indiana. Yesterday when we went and cut our Christmas tree, it was 50 degrees! Nice. Wasn't the same without Emily along, but we still had a good time. I finally got my way...I always want a short, fat tree, and everyone else wants a huge one. The one we got is cute! We're going to decorate today, Johnny has to go up into the attic and drag everything down.

***First, I have a lot of work to do! Seems like whenever I have an extra day, like Friday, I don't spend it working and getting ahead, I do something else! This time it was putting up my outdoor Christmas lights. Oh well, just means I have to work harder today.

***I'm even decorating my office. I'll take a picture and try to figure out how to post it here when I'm done.

***Time to get the coloring contest together for the Post Office. I do this ever year, the kids love it! I print out some pictures from here, and there is a retired schoolteacher in town who judges them for me. We give out prizes and display the pictures, it's always fun!

***Here's a fun site by a lady who has had the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, like I did. She's a really interesting person and there are some really good ideas here!

***This stuff is great! I was glad to see this review at MM's site, because I had shied away from the stuff because of the sugar content. It's Bolthouse Farms Perfectly Protein Mocha Cappuccino. Try it!

Weekend Warrior

***Hey everybody! I spent yesterday afternoon putting up my outdoor Christmas lights. They look pretty, if I do say so myself! We're going today or tomorrow to get our tree, which means as soon as I get home from work I have to clean and make a place for it in the living room. No easy feat, we have lots of furniture in there. Now that I have an office, though, we have a little room to put stuff. Can't wait!

***Here we go with another week! I'm working at the Post Office all day, which means today's gonna be nutty busy. I'm up at 3:00 a.m. to get as much transcription done as possible before I have to go. These full days really mess with my schedule!

Not Good

***Well, this was not a good way to start my day. They're all a bunch of liars, pretending that this health care bill will provide care for all Americans and stop "spiraling health care costs." How they can say that with a straight face when everyone knows how much it is going to cost amazes me. What a bunch of corrupt goons.

***I'm a little late today with the update! Lotsa stuff going on. I'm working today, then I have a lot of things to do at home along with trying to get some transcription done.

***Man, do I have a lot to do today! I did sleep better last night, though, just had to cut it short at 3:00 a.m. to catch up since I had to work all day Wednesday and Thursday. I have a new doctor to learn today, so that'll probably take me a little longer than usual. Not complaining, though! I'll take all I can get.

***Jesse Jackson is pure sleaze. He said at a reception recently that, "You can't vote against health care and call yourself a black man." Well, leaving aside the obvious, that this health care bill has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with bigger, more intrusive government, I don't think you can father an illegitimate child while you're married, pay off your mistress, and call yourself a reverend.

Good Tuesday To Ya!

***Well, I got my butt kicked a little at my 18 month surgery appointment yesterday. Gotta lose the McDonald's cafe mochas and the trail mix, among other things. I'm joining the Wellness Center this morning, too. Gotta get that scale movin' again.

***This is disgusting and juvenile. I had no respect for Al Gore in the first place, so it was hard for him to sink lower in my estimation. However, he managed it by allowing this to air on his network.

Gonna Shop 'til I Drop!

***...or until I run out of money, which of course will happen first! After work this morning I'm headed to the YMCA Christmas Village here in Richmond. Lots of handcrafted Christmas stuff and it's always a great time. The biggest difference this year is that Emily won't be with me, so of course it won't be as much fun. But I'm goin' anyway!

***When I get back, I'll be putting some more stuff up on eBay. We worked on cleaning our garage yesterday, & I found lots more stuff to sell! The more I sell, the more fun we can have in South Carolina!

Cleanin' Machine

***We started on the garage yesterday...we rented a storage unit and got a bunch of stuff out of the garage. Gotta make room for the carpet truck now that the weather is getting cold. It's amazing how much STUFF we accumulate in a relatively short period of time.

Eatin' Trail Mix, Drinkin' Water...

***That's my breakfast. I'm STUCK at minus 151 lbs. I'm happy to have lost that much but I want to lose at least twenty more and can't seem to get it done! I'm gonna work on exercising more, maybe that'll make the scale move. If not, it might just move right out the window!

***Oh, of course they will. Abortion is the holy grail of liberal democrats, they're not going to pass a "health care" bill without it. What a misnomer, this has nothing to do with health care, and everything to do with socialism.

Another Week!

***Glad I'm not at the Post Office this week. I didn't get as much accomplished over the weekend as I garage is still a disaster area! Oh well...hopefully I'll get to that this week. We have had absolutely glorious weather in Indiana, I hope that continues!

***'Nother busy day for me. Gonna type a while and then drive my mom around on her Meals on Wheels route...then back at the computer! It has been beautiful here in Indiana, I gotta take the time for a walk sometime today.

Good Night!

***Well, last night was good for Republicans (I am one, in case you haven't figured that out yet). Wish Hoffman could have pulled it off, but considering he was polling in single digits a month ago, it's pretty amazing that he came within two points of victory. Congratulations to the new governors of New Jersey and Virginia!


***Boy, do I need my coffee! I'm going for blood work in a little while, so my coffee has to wait until after that. Amazing how dependent we get on our morning cup, isn't it?

***This is so important. We brought our kids up to abstain from sex until marriage. Here's a good article on that subject.
