***Watch this! It is absolutely awesome. It's the US Navy Drill Team. The skill is just breathtaking.

***Oh boy, here's a surprise. ACORN accused of massive voter fraud in New York. Why, I'm shocked! Shocked!

***Loser loses again.

***I went to Curves yesterday to get some information. I'm walking and biking now for exercise, though not as consistently as I should be, but winter's coming. I'm looking at Curves and at the Wellness Center that is close by. The Wellness Center, though, has some odd hours because they're affiliated with local high school. It can't be used during school hours or right after school when the athletes are working out. I like to go very early in the morning, though, so I could work out at 7:00 a.m. and be out of there by the time I need to be. I would like a little more flexibility, though. We'll see!

***This is neat, if you like the guitar. It's a "guitar community" where you can do guitar lessons, read articles, check out different products, etc.

***This is gonna be our next project (hopefully). I've wanted a kitchen island for a long time where our huge kitchen table is. Now that I've moved my office, we have room for a dining room table where it used to be. Hopefully we'll be able to come up with the money for this project soon. That's always the sticking point, isn't it?

***Have a great day!

Pluggin' Away

***Good morning! Here I am in front of my trusty computer again. It would probably scare me to death to learn the number of hours I spend here!

***Thank you, Dubya.

***Here's a good article on exercise. I know, you've seen a million of 'em. Seems that every headline of every magazine you see at the grocery store has something to do with losing weight. Honestly, next time you're at the magazine rack, just look at the covers of most women's magazines. I'll bet you'll see that 80% has something like Walk Off The Weight! as it's main title.

***My mother is having a pacemaker put in Monday. This article explaining what they do is really interesting. Her heartbeat is usually in the 40s, which is way too low. I'm sure she'll feel better once that is corrected; she is tired a lot, for obvious reasons.

***I've noticed a trend lately in our little corner of the world. The Halloween costumes have gotten more cute, fun, etc. rather than gory and scary. I know that's probably not true everywhere, but it's nice to see around here. The little ones who come dressed as little princesses, fairies, ladybugs, etc. are just adorable. I remember when we used to dress our kids little boy was a hobo once when he was about 4, it was the cutest thing. Emily always wanted to be something pretty like a princess. We usually made our own costumes. We still turn our light on and give out candy, we really look forward to it. We live in a cul-de-sac kind of off the beaten path, so we don't get a ton of trick-or-treaters, but we do get some...probably 20-30 in a night. Since we don't get so many, we usually give out little candy bars. If we had to buy a lot we'd probably have to go with Smarties or something, but since we don't, we can afford to give out some good stuff!

***Well, enough playing, gotta get busy. Have a great day!

Fresh Start

***Here we go again, a new week! It's gonna be a busy one for me, I have an extra client this week. I'm transcribing for a large GYN group here in town while their transcriptionist is on vacation. Oh well, if I survive the money will come in handy!!

***Not that again. Do these people ever stop whining about people who disagree with them and actually talk about the issues?

***Not surprising. There's a reason for this. Fox News is not afraid to air stories critical of the president. The other channels will not, because they're biased, plain and simple.

***I'm going to get a Tracfone when my current contract with Verizon is up. I send Verizon way too much money every month! I don't use my cell phone all that much, and I'm sure I'll save quite a bit.

***I'm going to start working on cleaning my garage today. That'll give me a break from sitting in front of this computer. My sister, mother, and I are having a yard sale at my house this Saturday, and I have a LOT of work to do before then. It'll be nice to get some stuff cleaned I can put more stuff out there. That's the way it always works, isn't it?

***Better get busy. Have a great day, everyone!

Sunday Morning - Nervous!

***I'm singing a duet this morning in church...I'm always nervous when I'm going to sing. I love to do it, but I'm glad when it's over.

***Good deal.

***Well, I'm there...officially "midlife." Dr. Dobson has some practical advice about this time in our lives. Some interesting stuff here. Seems weird to think of myself in the second half of my life...I'm 51. I remember when I was a kid thinking how OLD that sounded. Doesn't sound so old any more! I'm thankful that I feel great and my health is excellent. I plan to stay that way!

***Good questions. Now that the Democrats have decided that we can't interrogate terrorists, what are we going to be able to find out from the terrorists who have been caught plotting to blow up various parts of the United States? The Leftists don't think we should do anything to extract information from them, even if it will save American lives. Does that seem completely stupid to anyone else?

***Check this out when you have time. It's a Heritage piece on Obamacare, and it's really eye-opening.

***Interested in relieving some of your debt? Who isn't? Here's a story about one family that did it. We've been working on that for a while...swore off credit cards years ago. We've been working to get out of debt ever since. We really had ourselves in deep, but there's a light at the end of the tunnel!

***Neat website for Christian home decor.

***Quote for the day, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." ~~Philippians 4:13

***Have a great Sunday!

Wacky Weekend

***Well, it just got a little less busy. The fall festival party our church was going to have this evening has been postponed until next week due to the weather. That'll give me a bit more time to catch up on some "stuff."

***Johnny's home for the weekend! That's always a plus. It's nice to walk by his room and hear the fan going, knowing he's in there. I'm not having any trouble letting go...

***Don't want insurance? Go to jail. And they're trying to tell us we're not losing our liberty.

***This is hilarious! If you haven't seen the dancing baby video, check this out! It'll make you laugh out loud.

***Well, gotta go pick my mom up and take her yard saling. Who knows what treasures I might find..???

***Have a great day!

Made It Through...

***...another week! Got any plans for the weekend? My mother- and sister-in-law are coming over this evening for homemade pizza. This weekend, in between transcribing, I'm working on cleaning a bathroom and a garage. That oughta keep me busy!

***This is interesting. It's called "True U." It's an apologetics program for high schoolers. Great idea...seems a lot of Christian kids "lose their way" for a while in college. I told my kids to get plugged into a Christian group as soon as they could when they went to college. There are so many things pulling them in different directions, and most of them are not good things. They need to work at it to stay focused...well, we all do, don't we?

***This is sickening.

***Arnold, just change parties and get it over with...

***Good article on strength training. I need to get going with that. I've been walking, but I really need to take it up a notch. My weight loss has stalled, and I'm pretty sure it's because I sit in front of this computer working so much. Walking 20-25 minutes 3-4 days a week just doesn't seem to be enough.

Scary Stuff

***Okay, who said this? "“In today’s world the blather about free trade, free markets & the joys of competition is nothing but pablum for the suckers.” It was Ron Bloom, Obama's manufacturing czar. It's scary the type of people he surrounds himself with.

***How about this? President Obama’s diversity czar at the Federal Communications Commission has spoken publicly of getting white media executives to “step down” in favor of minorities, prescribed policies to make liberal talk radio more successful, and described Hugo Chavez’s rise to power in Venezuela “an incredible revolution.” Wow. Somebody needs to tell them about the constitutional role of government. Not that they care.

***Toilet paper wedding gowns? Imagine an outdoor wedding and a sudden rain shower...

***I absolutely love fall decorations! This is definitely my favorite time of year for decorating...okay, not that I do that much decorating, but my husband is really good at arranging stuff around our front porch. Right now we have several different colored mums, pumpkins, gourds, little straw bales, and he has them arranged really nicely. I need to figure out how to embed a picture here so I can show it off. I think he could make a living at outdoor decorating, I really do. It looks great!

***I love being in my new office. The phone people came and installed my fax line back here, so now it's complete. It's amazing how much more productive I am without the distractions of being in the family room.

***Speaking of which, better get busy. Have a great day!

***Here are a few interesting factoids about entrepreneurs, people who start a business of their own. We're just ordinary people looking to do extraordinary things!

***Here are some business ideas from if you're thinking about your own business. It's hard work, but it's worth it.

***Wow. This is unbelievable. Race-based discipline in a school district?

***Sometimes you just need some happy news!

***Better get thing about being an entrepreneur, there ain't much down time!

***Ever have a song stuck in your head? We had a group of ladies sing "Adonai" Sunday morning, and I can't get it out of my head! Lovely song.

Adonai, I lift up my heart and I cry
My Adonai
You're the maker of each moment
Father of my hope and freedom
Oh my Adonai

***Yeah, like this is gonna happen. The president doesn't know how to butt out, he only knows how to butt in.

***In over his head.

***Here's a great way to support our troops!

***Do you have any quirks? I've got a bunch of 'em. One is that I always sleep with a fan on at night. Always. In the dead of winter, even. I don't know if it's the noise, the wind, or what, but I love having a fan on and snuggling under covers. Okay, so I'm weird...

***Better get busy...have a great day!

Back to the Routine

***Well, the excitement of the weekend's over and we're at the start of another week. I'm glad to be keeping busy. Unfortunately, I just learned that one of my doctors who dictates a lot will be out of commission for a while. That's gonna hurt! I'll do my best to replace him as soon as possible. With EMR, it's getting a little harder to do so.

***No surprise. The media made Obama, he owes them. Nevermind that it's unconstitutional and we can't afford it.

***This should be required reading in our high schools! Too many students are graduating absolutely ignorant of our founding documents.

***Going somewhere? I don't know if you've ever used Mapquest, but it has been a lifesaver for me many times. When we were driving to feisanna when Emily was competing in Irish dance, I used it all the time and it really does give good directions.

***Well, playtime's over. Have a great day!

Fun Day!

***Good morning! Today's gonna be a good day. First church, then we're meeting Peter and Emily for lunch, then going shopping at the Greene. Yay! We're eating at BD's Mongolian Barbecue. It's a create your own stirfry place where you pick out all the ingredients and they cook it for you on a huge grill. Since my surgery it's silly for me to do a buffet, so I'll just get soup and salad. I'm just there for the company, anyway! Peter & Mark (my husband) will certainly get their money's worth, though.

***Mark installed an ergonomic keyboard drawer on my new desk yesterday. Love my desk, but sitting my keyboard on it was making my back ache because it was too high. This desk didn't come with a keyboard drawer, so I got one at It works great, has plenty of room for my Microsoft Natural Keyboard and mouse. By the way, their shipping was fast, too. Check 'em out if you need office products.

***Are you listening, Mr. President?

***Amen, David Limbaugh. The people pointing their fingers and yelling "racist!" at every turn are the true racists. That's all they see.

Wonderful, Awesome, Terrific!

***We had a great visit with my daughter and her husband yesterday. Family was here, great food, great weather -- couldn't have been better! They're visiting with Peter's family today in Sidney, then we get to see them again tomorrow for lunch before they fly back home. Today I have to do the work that I didn't do yesterday, but it was worth it!

***Oh no, he's not a threat...

***Here are some good ideas on starting a home-based business, if that's something you've been thinking about. I love working at home.

***We played a lot of cornhole yesterday. I've found that I'm either really good or really bad, and there's no way to know when either will happen! Lots of fun, though.

***George W. Bush is reported by one of his speech writers as saying about Obama before he was elected, “This is a dangerous world, and this cat isn’t remotely qualified to handle it.”
Amen to that.

***I woke up this morning with my eyes puffy and dry. I must be allergic to something. I've never had that problem before, and I hope it doesn't last long.

***Lots to do...have a great day, everyone!

Friday, September 18, 2009

***This is gonna have to be quick! I still have lots to do before everyone comes today to see Emily & Peter. There just ain't enough hours in the day, are there??

***Something's wrong with this picture. The missile threat from other countries is growing, and our president is weakening our defenses and betraying our allies? His incompetence with foreign policy, unfortunately, is going to cost American lives, I'm afraid.

***Read this, and then see above.

***Oh puh-leeze.

***Okay, something a little more positive:
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." ~~ Romans 8:28

***Gotta go...have a gread day!

Almost Here!!

***Tomorrow's the big day! Emily & Peter will be here, and so will the whole family. I'm still working on the house, yard, office, etc. Hope I'm ready by then!

***Twisting and turning. Harry Reid, the quintessential politician. He certainly changes his tune when he's in front of his constituents, doesn't he? This is pretty much opposite from what he says from his Washington office. Coward.

***The National Hemorrhoid. I love it!

***I use Burt's Bees lip gloss rather than lipstick most of the time now. It's medicated, and they have really pretty colors that stay on just as well as regular lipstick. My lips get really dry, and this stuff always feels good when I put in on. Raisin is my favorite shade. :-) I'm no environmental wacko, so their "green" garbage that you'll see at the web site is lost on me...I just like the product!

***Shhh...don't give Washington any ideas!

***This is kinda neat. It's a web site with the stories behind some famous logos, such as Nike, Adidas, and McDonald's.

***Looking for work? is a great resource. It's easy to use, and I got good response when I posted my resume there.

***Better get at it. Have a great day!

Splash of Cold Water

***This should give you pause if you're still in favor of the government taking over our health care.

***More info. I guess you can tell by now I'm keenly interested in this issue. I think Obamacare would be the biggest mistake this country has ever made (other than, of course, electing Obama in the first place). It is socialism, pure and simple, and once we start down that path, it's gonna be very tough to turn it around.

***4HIM is one of my all-time favorite contemporary Christian music groups. Beautiful harmonies, great lyrics, great accompaniment. They aren't making CDs any more, but you should check them out if you like Christian music.

***I've been trying to figure out Winscribe. I have a big project for one of my clients to do through that platform, and I've never used it. I can't get it to work with my StartStop digital foot pedal, so I'm having to go through my C-phone and use that foot pedal. I think I've about got it figured out, but it has certainly been a process!

***My daughter and her husband are flying in from South Carolina tomorrow! They'll be getting in late, so we won't get to see them until Friday. Can't wait to see them! They will be flying back Sunday, and we're going to take them to the Greene for dinner. It is the neatest outdoor mall in Ohio, and they have a lot of very nice restaurants.

***Have a great day!!

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

***If this is true, I finally found something I agree with Obama on!

***Lots of great info over at Neil Boortz's web site. He's got video of the Tea Party rally on Sunday (which you'll be hard pressed to find in the mainstream media, even though it was the largest rally (unofficially) in Washington history).

***Patrick Swayze, R.I.P.

***I'm in my new office! Got about everything moved yesterday and set up. I love it! I'm still deciding where to put what, but I'd say I'm 85% there. The cable connection the guy put in Sunday doesn't work, though, so they have to come back today and fix it. The turkey, we tipped him, too. I've got this super long cord running from my cable modem out in the family room, where my office used to be, all the way to the back of the house where my new office is so I can get online back here and work. Oh well, it'll all be worth it!

***These Ted Dekker books are awesome! I've read "Black," and am now starting "Red." Real page-turners.

***Gonna have a yard sale in a couple of weeks. The name brand clothes my kids don't wear any more I'll sell on eBay, but just regular clothing doesn't sell as well on there and I think I'll just sell them in the sale. Lots of work, but my sister and mother have some stuff they want to sell too, so we'll just put it all together.

***Better get busy...have a great day!

Life is Good

***I feel like I oughta put a little trademark sign after that title! I'm drinking my Click out of a "Life is Good" mug. Love that stuff. The T-shirts are made out of really soft, comfortable cotton. I love the optimistic message!

***Great song by BarlowGirl about the despair many women feel after having an abortion.
“Oh what have we lost because we chose we’ll never know / And loving You is better than feeling alone / And all our claims to freedom have become these heavy chains / And in the name of rights, we keep filling nameless graves.” Amen.

***I'm 51 today! Geez, I'm getting to be an old broad...

***Wish I could have been there!!

***What a jerk! Serena Williams lost it at the U.S. Open. Keep it classy, girl.

***No kidding! Kinda hard to miss this.

Up & At 'Em

***Wow, slept in today. 5:30, half the day's gone!!

***I have to get everything caught up today...cable company's coming this evening to put cable access in my new office, then I'll be moving everything in there. We set up Emily's "shrine" yesterday...kept her desk back there with lots of pictures and stuff from high school, college, etc. Then we put up lots of pictures of the whole family on the walls, it looks great back there. Now all we gotta put back there is everything else! We'll have a "Johnny shrine" in his room when he leaves, too. Hard to let 'em go.

***Yeah, just a bunch of fringe rabble rousers, right?

***President Obama went to New York earlier in the week to memorialize Walter Cronkite, but couldn't make it to any of the 9-11 memorials? Says a lot about him, don't you think?

***I'm sipping my Meijer Fruitsations flavored water. It's a lot better than any other flavored water I've tried, and it's cheaper. Being a bariatric patient, I have to drink a lot of water, and I'm not one to just sip water if I'm not thirsty. Fruitsations makes it a lot easier. Try it!

*** is a great site for entrepreneurs (hence the name...). The magazine is very helpful, too, if you're of that mindset. If you have a small business or are considering it, check it out!

***Well, this stuff ain't gonna type itself! Have a great Sunday!

Update Kinda Late

***I've had a busy day so far! I usually do my blogging first thing, but "stuff" happens, y'know.

***I've been yard saling, cleaning, straightening, etc. etc. etc. Company's comin' in a couple of hours, and my house looks like a landfill.

***What a turnout!!!

Coming Right Along

***Hey, my new office is 90% complete! At least, the hard part is done. The room is clean, windows washed, curtains washed, carpet cleaned. Now all I gotta do is move all my stuff back there and get it hooked up. I'll have to call the cable and phone companies to get everything ready, then I'll get at it. I'm really looking forward to finally having an office!

***You know, even if you expect it, there is something very disappointing and discouraging about having your President look you in the eye and lie through his teeth.

***The response.

***Fun trivia site!

***Gonna be short and sweet today...lots to do! Have a good one!

Still At It

***Goose, meet Gander.

***Still workin' on my new office. I'm getting excited! It will be nice to have some room for all of my "stuff" without taking up half the family room. Mark's (my husband) going to clean the carpet today, then I'll be ready to start moving things back there.

***I'm going to chauffeur my mom around on her Meals on Wheels route today. It's a really good organization which delivers meals to shut-ins, mostly the elderly. It's fun to do...most of them love to chat, sometimes we're the only people they see all day. Mom has volunteered with MOW for almost 20 years now.

***Surprise, surprise.

2) Cervantes’ Don Quixote
3) Barack Obama’s Dreams from my Father

Another Busy Day

***Yep, the usual today. Typing and working on my new office. Gotta get a walk or a bike ride in there somewhere, my exercise has kinda gone by the wayside lately. Not good.

***A great place to keep up with the health care debate is the blog Critical Condition at National Review Online.

***My Representative, Mike Pence, is doing yeoman's work in Washington. I think he'd make a great presidential candidate someday.

***I tried All The Whey's espresso protein mix because it's a whole lot cheaper than Click. I thought, hey, I'll spend ten bucks and give it a try. It's not awful, but it sure ain't Click. It tastes pretty much like the plain whey protein I add to coffee and stuff when I need a protein boost. Click is more expensive, but it tastes absolutely awesome, doesn't have that protein-y taste. I'll be sticking with my Click.

***I love Kohl's! I have a birthday coming up very soon, and I asked for gift cards to Kohl's. Now that I've lost so much weight, I can buy pretty clothes, and boy, do I need them!

***I'm sure you've all heard about the Google Biz Kit and how you can make thousands of dollars at home! It's a scam...check it out here before you give them your credit card information.

***Have a great day, everyone!

Tuesday, September 8, 2009

***Can't keep my peepers open this morning, for some reason. Too bad, it's not like I have a choice! Doctors are really funny about their transcription...

***Kind of a damning endorsement, don't you think?

***This kind of thing is so typical. Dig up dirt and smear rather than address the actual issues.

***Check out these totally absurd inventions!

***In case you ever need to know...

***I can't wait to get my Natural Keyboard! I ordered it over a week ago, I hope it's here today. These really help if you type a lot. I have a slightly slanted keyboard now, but I need the split one. It keeps your wrists straight and that really helps when you type as much as I do. I used to have one and it croaked at 4:00 a.m. I had to go to Meijer, the only 24 hour place close, and these were all they had. Had to have one to finish my work, so I bought it. It's okay, but I need the real deal. I really got some sore forearms when I was doing all my work on my laptop while my new computer was being built.

***My son has changed his major to Electrical Engineering. He was going to major in Motion Picture Production, but decided an electrical engineering degree would make him more marketable. He's probably right...sounds like a really complicated subject, though! I'm sure he'll do well. He's very smart! Okay, maybe I'm a little biased...

Have a great day, all!

Salute To American Workers

***I mean real American workers, not just union workers, who seem to have taken over the holiday. Sometimes "union worker" is an oxymoron. Not always, I know. But I worked in a large facility with a union, and it seemed to me like the union's main purpose was keeping poor employees employed. There were several there who did the bare minimum, and sometimes not even that. The union made sure they made as much as I did, and I did my best and extra if asked. That's fairness?

***What a complete moron.

***I love this Robert Frost poem:

The Road Not Taken

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

***If you enjoy poetry, here's a good site for you.

***Better get busy...have a great Labor Day!

Sunday, September 6, 2009

***My daughter and her husband are coming up from South Carolina for a visit in a couple of weeks. What great news! I can't wait to see them. We were there about a month ago, but it seems like I haven't seen them in years.

***It's about time. He should never have been "in" in the first place.

***The Heritage Foundation is a great resource if you want to stay informed.

***My brothers went to the NHRA Nationals at Indianapolis this weekend. I've never been much of a racing fan...but those who are are rabid! It amazes me the crowds any type of racing draws.

***Arnold Sandwich Thins are awesome! Whether you're dieting or a bariatric surgery patient like me, these give you the taste and pleasure of bread for only 100 calories. It's so nice to be able to eat a hamburger...I never could before because the bread filled me up so fast. These don't. Okay, I still can't quite eat the whole thing, but I can eat most of it! They're so much better WITH a bun than without!

***Gotta get busy...have a great day, everyone!

Saturday, September 5, 2009

***Well, we took John back to college yesterday. Our daughter is in South Carolina. What a bummer. Our lives have always been so wrapped up in our kids that it's really hard when they're not here. We're still adjusting...just not ready for them to fly the coop, but obviously we're gonna have to get over it.

***I'm a little late with my update today! It has been a busy Saturday so far. Picked my mom up to do a little yard saling, met with a new client, did some grocery shopping, went to the Amish store to get their AWESOME deli meat and a few other things, and then came home and did a little cleaning. Now I'm going to have some serious quality time with my computer. Lots of work to do. It'll be nice to have Labor extra day to do some catching up. All of my offices are closed, so I won't have to worry about running my work around, either.

***In order to be honored, first one must be honorable. That leaves Ted Kennedy out, in my opinion.

***Check out the latest from Michael Yon.

***Lotsa work to do, better get to it! Have a great Saturday!

Friday, September 4, 2009

***Well, we move my son back to college today. I love having him home, but I know it's time. He'll be a junior this year. Fortunately, his college is only an hour away so I do get to see him quite a bit during the school year.

***I love Jay Nordlinger's writing. He's funny and engaging, and usually right!

***Hmmm. It's amazing the things Americans will pay good money for.

***I'm taking my son to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch today. That place is *awesome*!

***Now this is bizarre!!

***What beautiful weather we've had in Indiana for the past few days! Sunshine, low humidity, high 70s - low 80s. Doesn't get any better than that. I love the fall!

***Well, it's 3:45 a.m. and I still have some blankets to wash. Have a great day, all!

Good Morning!

***Dr. James Dobson's site, Focus on the Family, is a great resource. There's something for everyone there - kids, teens, adults, seniors, on a wide range of subjects affecting the family. Check it out.

***Amen, David. This president is an enigma, to be sure.

***I've been wondering what Bing is. Looks like a pretty cool search site. I haven't had time to really look into it, but I did the tour and it looks interesting.

***Just imagine, if you will, a video which pledged allegiance to George W. Bush shown to elementary school students during his tenure. Think there would have been a coast to coast outrage? Then why is this okay? If that principal did not know what was in the video, which I don't believe for a minute, she was even more irresponsible than I thought.

***Here is Sean Hannity's Top Ten Items for Victory in the next election. I hope the Republican leadeship is listening!

***This is good news.

***Have a great day!!

Mid-Week and All is Well!

***Well, all is *busy*, but that's the normal state of things around here.

***This is fun! I love "The Princess Bride," it's a great, fun movie. The first site linked has a "Where are they now?" story that follows the actors and tells what they're doing now. Hard to believe that movie was released in 1987! Where does the time go??

***Another great movie, "Jumanji." Really creative and entertaining, and family friendly!

***Hard to believe I'm attempting this. My sister is an avid quilter and got me to go to a class to learn how to do it. Now I'm working on a pillow top for my mother-in-law for Christmas. Might be NEXT Christmas before I get it done, but hey, it's the thought that counts! It sure won't be the skill...

***This doesn't help. What an idiot.

***Time to get with it. Have a great day!

And So It Goes...

***Got another client this week. I think I'm just going to forego sleep altogether from now on!

***Um, yeah. We knew the interrogations worked all along, and the sad thing is, so did the Left. However, it fit their agenda better to say they didn't and try to trash George W. Bush and everything he did. No matter that they put our national security and our troops at risk, which they are still doing with these stupid CIA investigations. Hey, gotta throw a bone to their demented far left base.

***Interesting poll regarding cap & trade. The more people realize it's going to cost them, the less they support it. Oh, it's okay to hurt the evil people producing the energy, as long as it doesn't trickle down to the consumer. Which, of course, it will.

***These are so cool!! We are getting into the season where we will use our fire pit several times a week. We lit a fire in it last night and roasted hot dogs and and marshmallows. It is so relaxing to just sit and watch the fire. I'm looking forward to spending a lot of evenings around the pit!

***We need a new gas grill to go along with our fire pit. Ours has about had it. One side leaks, so we can only use one side of it. That's fine if we don't have company, but if we do, it ain't enough. We bought one of those little portable ones like you would use to go camping, but I want a new big one! Meijer has them on sale, so I think I'm gonna head there later this week and get one. We use ours a lot.

***The Dairy Queens will be closing next month! I'll need to stock up on the no sugar added Dilly Bars before that happens. Love those things.

***"The Constitution only guarantees the American people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself." ~Benjamin Franklin

***Have a great day, everyone!
